The Ascent PC With Ray Tracing and DLSS Support

The Ascent from Neon Giant will receive support for ray tracing and DLSS on PC. Curve Digital, the game's publisher, released a new trailer showing the use of both technologies.

An isometric action RPG from Neon Giant, The Ascent, due out this July, will receive support for ray tracing and DLSS. In other words, a beautiful game will become even more beautiful. Its publisher, Curve Digital, released a short trailer on the occasion of this announcement, showing the use of both technologies in the cyberpunk game. Here it is.

Of particular note is the use of ray tracing to improve reflections in The Ascent. You can also see in the video that the game doesn't use the so-called global illumination model or ambient occlusion-based shading. In a world bathed in colourful neon lights, neither would do any harm, but even without them, the visuals are on a very high level..

Let us remind that The Ascent will be released on July 29, 2021 on PC, XONE and PS4, and through backward compatibility also on XSX|S and PS5.
