Skyrim has already conquered the fridge, now it's time for the tables.

Since last year's E3, we have been waiting for information about The Elder Scrolls VI. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we're going to hear about the game anytime soon. The fact that after the "launch" ofSkyrim on the fridge, The Elder Scrolls series will also be available on...the tables may be a consolation. No, it's not the multimedia furniture edition, but the newly announced The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms - a skirmish tabletop battle game from Modiphius Entertainment. The title will enable you to lead a team of daredevils in various adventures, such as expeditions to treacherous dungeons or minor battles. During the game we will manage not only our troops, but also mana and the endurance of the main character, while watching out for the moves of the other player. If you don't like the competition, The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms will enable you to have fun in a cooperative campaign or a solo game. The game will be varied by the activities of the characters and monsters controlled by the system, as well as narrative events.

Modiphius Entertainment is known for its tabletop story games. The company's catalogue includes such series as Conan, Star Trek Adventures and Elite Dangerous RPG. It is also not the first contact between the company and Bethesda's products. Before that we had Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, transferring players to the post-apocalyptic world of the Fallout series. The system of that title served as the basis for the battle TES. The Elder Scrolls: Call To Arms will launch with the release of a two-player starter kit that enables you to take part in the Skyrim civil war. Future additions will introduce elements from the fifth The Elder Scrolls as well as content inspired by other installment of the series. The release is scheduled for Christmas.
