The Fall Guys Devs Abandon Gears POP!
Mediatonic has officially announced that next year the servers of Gears POP! will be closed and thge game will not be further supported.
Two days ago, developers from Mediatonic announced that they are closing servers of the free real-time tactical strategy game Gears POP!, which was launched on August 22, 2019 on PC and mobile devices with Android/iOS. The pretext for abandoning the game is to be the lack of possibility of its further support and regular development (probably caused by the popularity explosion of studio's another title - Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout). The game will be available until April 26, 2021. Until then, microtransactions have been disabled, the most popular events have been restored, and the chance to win legendary Pins has been increased. Users who have bought in the game within the last 90 days will get a refund.
