Valve company has released interesting ranking lists, presenting the most popular games on the Steam among players using game pads.

The end of the year is traditionally a period of summaries. Recently, we wrote about the most popular and profitable games on Steam platform. Now we have learned which games were the most popular among players using gaming pads. Separate lists were prepared for users with controllers from Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles, as well as those who prefer the Steam Controller.
Two lists were made available for each of these devices. The first one includes several dozen of the most popular games on a given pad controller. The second list is more interesting because it presents titles that were statistically much more popular on one type of controller than on another, even taking into account the differences in the number of individual devices owned by the Steam community. This suggests that the above mentioned productions may work exceptionally well on a given pad or have problems on the others. For example, we know that DualShock 3 and DualShock 4 are particularly popular among fans of fighting, while Steam Controller dominates in strategies.
More than 36.7 million Steam users have used it at least once. As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that there are also approx. 700 maniacs who managed to connect a dance mat to the computer. Valve recommends Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Metronomicon.
The order of games on the lists below is accidental. Valve has prepared these lists mainly to make it easier for padholders to choose the production best suited to their controllers.
