Rumor: Tom Cruise and Ladders in Starfield

Tom Cruise as the face of Starfield, a new movie, resource extraction and... ladders. More rumors about Bethesda's game are making rounds on the web, said to come from „the inner circle”.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Three Discord users indirectly revealed new information about Starfield. Recent leaks seem to confirm their words.
  • According to JBG, Mousey and Deverell, Tom Cruise is very likely to appear in Starfield, as well as a movie based on the work;
  • What's more, there has been news of ability to extract resources, as well as usable ladders, which Bethesda has had trouble with for years.

Over the past few days, the internet has been flooded with more rumors about Starfield, the space RPG from Bethesda Softworks, announced in 2018. Yesterday, we wrote about Jeff Grubb, who stated that the game will, with 90% certainty, be shown to the world around the June E3 trade show. The well-known Venture Beat journalist also said that in his opinion Bethesda wants to release Starfield this year, unless the pandemic thwarts its plans, and confirmed that the title will be released only on Xbox and PC. As it turns out, that's not the end of the new rumors, as the web has been abuzz with information about Tom Cruiz being the face of Starfield.

Tom Cruise in Starfield? Where did that come from?

All information comes from an exchange of opinions between four Discord users, including three Starfield "experts" - Mousey, Deverell and JBG. Before you let your skepticism run wild, let me just mention that these same people claimed to have seen screenshots from the game before some of them leaked to the internet.. For example: Deverell revealed the names of Axion Energy and Space Nation Alliance, which then appeared in the leaked images.

What's more, Deverell's and JBG's nicknames on Discord have long included the mysterious abbreviations SA and SNA, which appear to be based on names from Starfield: StarField Alliance and Space Nation Alliance. If anyone still does not believe that the information from JBG may be credible, it is worth mentioning that on May 13 he referred to the speedometer, which was revealed a day later. In turn, both JBG and Deverell confirm that Mousey is part of their "inner circle".

Starfield movie, resource extraction and... ladders

The aformentioned trio was said to agree that Tom Cruise would star in Starfield, and they cited Bethesda's tweet from 2018 as circumstantial evidence. Representatives of the company praised Tom's acting in Oblivion and Mission Impossible: Fallout, and - as a joke or unofficially - "offered" him a part in their new project.

Another interesting information is that Tom Cruise is set to be featured in a Starfield movie based on Bethesda's game or so say JBG, Mousey and Devell.

However, that's not all we "know" about the upcoming game. The trio of insiders have revealed that according to pre-pandemic schedule Starfield was supposed to be released in 2021.. The server also commented on interesting elements of the work - such as the fact that it is to feature usable ladders (which is surprising, considering the long-standing problem of Fallout and The Elder Scrolls), or the ability to mine resources.
