Players Fix Total War: Warhammer 3; Hundred of Mods Flood Steam

Two days were enough for almost 600 mods for Total War: Warhammer 3 to appear in Steam Workshop.

Latest update for Total War: Warhammer III has introduced support for Steam Workshop. This feature has proven to be very popular and the service has been flooded with mods.

At the time of writing this news 592 modifications to Total War: Warhammer III have been released. This is an impressive number considering that only two days have passed since the release of the patch.

Sample mods for Total War: Warhammer III

Mods that are currently the most popular:

  1. Settlement Capture Pictures - in the standard version of the game, conquered settlements are marked only with small red icons. In previous installments whole artwork was changed instead and this mod brings that back, based on the graphics from Total War: Warhammer and Total War: Warhammer II.
  2. Better Camera Mod - a project that improves in-game camera performance, allowing for expanded zoom span.
  3. Building Progression Icons III - mod that changes building icons to reflect the appearance of an improved version of each structure.
  4. Great Bastion Takes No Attrition - disables exhaustion mechanics for Great Bastion.
  5. Disable startup splash screens / intros - removes company logo videos displayed at every game launch.

How much players have been waiting for mods is well reflected by the fact that each of the above modifications already has tens of thousands of subscribers in Steam Workshop.

At the moment the projects are modest, but with time we can count on more ambitious modifications. The results of the first two days show that the interest in modifying Total War: Warhammer III is tremendous, so we hope that the modding community of this project will grow.

Total War: Warhammer III is available exclusively on PC. The game debuted on February 17, 2022 and is sold on Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store. The game has simultaneously launched in PC Game Pass.
