Polyphony Digital released patch 1.11 for Gran Turismo 7. As promised, the amount of money received for races (and more) has been drastically increased, and new events with high rewards have been added. In addition, car purchases have been made easier and car physics have been improved.
Polyphony Digital has kept its word. The team has just released another sizable patch for Gran Turismo 7, numbered 1.11. and weighing in at almost a gigabyte. The changes in this patch are the fulfillment of what was promised at the end of March in response to the storm that the players unleashed after patch 1.07, when the developer lowered rewards for the most lucrative professions... throwing away all pretence and betraying all desire to push users into the embrace of microtransactions. Now the developers are trying desperately to save their image.
Below I list the most important changes introduced by the patch. You can take a look at the full list here.
Even before the end of April, we are expecting more big changes in Gran Turismo 7. The following was promised in the news at the end of March:
Finally, a reminder for those who have purchased Gran Turismo 7 before March 25th - you can still claim the one million credits - it's a compensation for the "punitive damages" caused by the changes in patch 1.07, and will no longer be available after April 25th.
What do you think about patch 1.11? Is it a step in the right direction? Or is Polyphony Digital going from one extreme to the other, and now there is a risk that players will find it too easy to get everything, just like in Forza Horizon 5? Share your thoughts in the comments.
