Total War: Warhammer 3 Update 4.0 Launches; Patch Notes are Frighteningly Long

Coming today, Total War: Warhammer 3 will receive the latest (and inducing controversy) DLC, Shadows of Change. Along with it we will get update 4.0, which will bring to the game not only a ton of fixes and changes in gameplay balance, but also new content - including some free stuff.
The extensive description of the new features and improvements that are heading to Total War: Warhammer 3 along with patch 4.0 can make your head spin. That's why we've included only the most important ones below.
- Three new lords will come to the game with the paid DLC: Changeling, the deceptive herald of Tzeentch; Yuan Bo, the Jade Dragon of Grand Cathay; and Mother Ostankia of Kislev.
- Along with the DLC, legendary heroes, the Blue Scribes of Tzeentch, who have the ability to cast random spells, will also come to the game.
- The DLC also includes 11 fresh basic units, as well as 9 new Famous Regiments..
- Patch 4.0 for Total War: Warhammer III will also introduce a free hero, Aekhold Helbrass known as the Conqueror of Kislev, who is a champion of Tzeentch and can strengthen some factions of Chaos Warriors. He will be acquired by completing the Tale of the True Path quest.
