Ubisoft+ and Game Pass - Official Correction
Ubisoft has commented on the (un)official information regarding the debut of its subscription service in Game Pass.

Yesterday the news broke out that Ubisoft is to join Electronic Arts (EA Play) and make their games available through Game Pass. The Dutch branch of the publisher, from which the whole rumor began, apologized for the confusion and informed that Ubisoft+'s catalog does not have to become part of Microsoft's subscription.
As we read in the post of the UbisoftNL account on Instagram (via Idle Sloth), the French publisher's subscription is definitely headed to Xbox. However, for now, "nothing is known about [its availability as part of - ed. note] Game Pass".
In theory, this is not a definite denial, and one may be deluded to think that Ubisoft+ will make it to the Game Pass catalog after all. However, it is worth recalling that back in January, Ubisoft's main account on Twitter assured that the "plus" will be "a separate subscription". So it's better to restrain enthusiasm and wait for new official information on this topic.
