Finding fresh water in Grounded 2 can be a challenge at the beginning of your game. However, it is much easier if you build a Dew Collector. This simple “workstation” will solve all your problems with H2O. How to get it? Read our guide to learn the process step by step.

How to unlock a Dew Collector in Grounded 2

To unlock a Dew Collector in Grounded 2, you need to analyze and build a few things. Let’s start from the beginning.

1. First of all, you need to get a Web Fiber. You should have no problems with that, as it drops from spiders and after destroying their webs.
2. Next, analyze a Web Fiber, it will unlock a Spinning Wheel.
3. Of course, you must build a Spinning Wheel now. It costs:

2 Acorn Tops (Acorns can be found in the left corner of the map, we have a map with them marked in the linked guide, if you feel lost).

4 Clay (it can be found near water, you need a shovel to dig it, check out our guide for a resource map).

4 Red Ant Parts (kill Red Ants, there are many of them everywhere).

3 Sap (it is a common material, which can be seen on the roots and branches).

3 Crude Rope (you can craft it using 3 Plant Fiber for each – PF is possible to get by collecting tiny plants or destroying what is left after chopping down a grass blade). Tip: after building a Spinning Wheel, you will be able to craft Crude Rope thanks to it for 1 Plant Fiber.

1. Next, you must craft a Silk Rope on the Spinning Wheel, using 1 Web Fiber.
2. Now, analyze a Silk Rope to unlock a Dew Collector Blueprint.

Finally, we have unlocked the Dew Collector. However, it is not the end of our journey. Let’s build it now.

1. 5 Crude Rope (remember that you can craft it cheaper on the Spinning Wheel).
2. 6 Weed Stem (with Axe tier 1, you can cut down dandelions to get it, check out our guide for a map).
3. 8 Pebblet (they are on the ground to pick up. Alternatively, you can destroy bigger rocks).
4. 5 Silk Rope (craft it on your new Spinning Wheel).

Congratulations! Now your Dew Collector will gather fresh water every day. Your issues with H2O are over.
