During one of the panel discussions game's director Ion Hazzikostas revealed details of the first of them, namely The War Within. The iconic MMORPG will get a sizable makeover.
The expansion will introduce quick (about 15-minute) adventures known as Delves, which we will face alone or in a party of up to five people. During the course of the game we will encounter puzzles to solve, new bosses or treasures including both gold and cosmetic items. At the start, we will gain access to twelve such endgame vaults.
The War Within is the first of three expansion for World of Warcraft announced on Friday at BlizzCon 2023 (the others are Midnight and The Last Titan) - the expansion will debut in the fall of 2024.
