Stray: Other cats - are they in the game?
Stray is a production in which you control one cat, but you may be interested in the presence of other cats. Our guide answers the question of whether more cats or other live animals appear in the game.
You travel the world of Stray controlling a cat. In our guide, we explain whether there are other cats or any living animals in the game and if there is an option to interact with them.
This page contains minor spoilers, especially about the events from the very beginning of the game.
When you start a new game, you'll be in the company of other homeless cats. The pet you control will travel the game world together with them.
The authors prepared a few interactions with other cats - you can, for example, play with them or sleep in the same place. The other cats do not participate in solving puzzles or help overcoming obstacles.
You'll split up from other cats pretty quickly, and you won't meet them later in the game. From this moment, your interactions will be limited to various machines. The only exception are Zurks, but they are monsters that try to eat the cat you control, and you need to avoid them.
