Stray: PS Extra - is the game available?
The game Stray at the time of its release will be available to purchase or pick up for free by selected PS subscribers . This guide page tells you how to play Stray without buying the game.
Stray can be played by those subscribed to certain versions of PS Plus. Our guide explains which PS subscription you need to play Stray for free.
Stray will be available to subscribers of selected PlayStation Plus versions on its release - July 19, 2022:
- If you have a PS Extra subscription, you will be able to play the game without having to buy it.
- If you have a PS Premium subscription, you will be able to play the game without having to buy it.
- If you have a PS Deluxe subscription (subscription option for countries without streaming support offered in Premium), you will be able to play the game without having to buy it.
- If you have a PS Essential subscription (basic subscription, equivalent to the older one), you won't be able to play the game for free. The free version of the game isn't available for lowest subscription tier.
Additional note - In the Extra, Premium and Deluxe subscriptions, you can play the game for free only as long as you have an active subscription. After it expires, the game will be blocked as it is not permanently assigned to your PSN account's library.
