Table of Contents

The Outer Worlds 2 is a game where you can travel across the galaxy and visit its various corners. In our guide, you will find a very detailed interactive map of the world. It shows all the main locations to visit (Eden, Dorado, Preator, Cloister, space stations) and they each have their own separate maps. The individual maps include locations of companions and their personal quests, main and optional quests, traders and important characters, yellow weapons and armor, secrets and collectibles, boss hideouts, advanced decryption keys, pets, and interesting places. This will allow you to explore 100% of all the locations you visit.

Main planets and space stations

The Incognito Navigation Terminal on the party's ship is used for traveling across the galaxy. You cannot visit all the main locations right away, and more will be unlocked as you progress through the story. The 4 main planets in the game are:

  1. Eden - you will visit the Paradise Island map;
  2. Dorado - you will visit the Golden Ridge region;
  3. Praetor;
  4. Cloister.

In addition, you can also access various space stations and decks of large ships. Some of them (e.g. Free Market Station) remain available from the moment they are unlocked. Other places of this type are visited only once, so it is important to search them in 100%.

Companions

Thanks to the map, you can find out where potential companions are located. They are Niles, VALERIE (available from the beginning of the game), Inez, Marisol, Aza, and Tristan. In the descriptions of individual markers, we have also included potential requirements for recruiting them.

Advanced decryption keys and High security lockboxes

These are important secret items marked on our interactive map that are directly connected to each other. Advanced decryption keys are used to open High security lockboxes. They are found on board the ship Incognito. These containers may have unique treasures.

Quests, important characters, and items

On our interactive map, you will find several types of markers associated with quests:

  1. Main quests - They are required to complete the game.
  2. Side quests - These are optional missions that are not mandatory.
  3. Companion quests - These are missions related to specific characters from your party.
  4. Collectible quests - These involve finding secret items from various collections.
  5. Faction quests - These are side missions received in locations that serve as the headquarters of specific groups.
  6. Quest locations - We have marked the most important and better-hidden places that need to be visited during main or side quests.
  7. Quest items - We show the location of unique objects, such as access cards or documents related to active quests.
  8. Important characters - Conversations with them can vary depending on unlocked skills and acquired knowledge.
  9. Unique gadgets - These are items useful during exploration, such as an N-Ray Scanner for scanning the area for invisible enemies and cables.

Interesting places, rift anomalies, and fast travel

Points of interest are unique locations discovered during map exploration. These can include factories, viewpoints, environmental puzzles, or interactive devices. Marker descriptions provide information about any additional attractions.

The rift anomalies marked on our map are initially deadly, but later in the game, they become a source of unique loot. We have also marked dangerous traps and toxic clouds.

On the map, we also show elevators and fast travel points, which can be helpful, for example, in returning to previously visited locations.

Secrets and collectibles

We have prepared several types of markers for different kinds of collectibles. These include:

  1. audio logs;
  2. collectible cards (e.g. Pitchball Cards);
  3. mural fragments;
  4. compression coils;
  5. Science Adventures Quarterly volumes;
  6. pets - may appear on board Incognito.

Vendors, workbenches, and vending machines

Our interactive map will lead you to various types of vendors. The marker's description informs about what items they offer.

We have separate tags for, e.g. NPCs providing services (e.g. doctors), as well as crafting workbenches and vending machines that offer specific types of goods.

Unique weapons and armor

During the game, you can find a lot of common loot, but we focused on showing rare yellow weapons and armor. Acquiring unique or legendary gear can be particularly helpful in the early hours of the game, reducing the need to purchase equipment from merchants.

The map is in preparation.
