This page of the guide to Deathloop explains how to correctly identify the Visionary Aleksis Dorsey at a masquerade in Updaam district. This may be difficult, because Colt initially doesn't know much about Aleksis, and there are many similar-looking characters at the masquerade. We've described two main methods to unmask Aleksis.

Getting to the masquerade
Getting rid of Aleksis Dorsey is, above all, a part of the Visionary Leads called Eating sheep - you will find the complete walkthrough of it in our guide. The following description, though, focues on the most important steps you need to take in order to identify and kill Aleksis.
Remember that you will have the opportunity to kill Aleksis when you arrive at Updaam in the evening. Then, turn your attention to the castle, which is the biggest building in the district. The main entrance to the estate is guarded - make sure you don't trigger the alarm, because if you do, enemies will start running around the area and hunt Colt. Identifying and killing the Visionary may become very difficult in such case.
We suggest taking the path along the cliff. You will reach a room, from which you can then go to a small windowsill and use the stairs to the right to get to the upper level. Eventually, you should reach an area above the masquerade.
Method 1 - recognizing Aleksis by his appearance
Turn your attention to the area shown in the image above. You can jump there or teleport with the Shift. Start watching the party guests from above. It's worth using Aether so that the guests don't spot you.
Use Focus on the guests (by holding the down arrow on the pad) to examine more people. You'll recognize Aleksis by two things:
- speaks with a male voice,
- he's got two orange SMGs strapped to his belt.
Note - don't pay attention to the color of Aleksis' clothes, as it's always selected randomly.
After you recognize Alexis, it's best to wait patiently here until he stands at the microphone and starts his speech.. Alexis is standing on a trapdoor, and the button that activates it is where you are. Pressing it will kill Alexis right away.
Method 2 - recognizing Aleksis by his musical tastes
In this option, you have to use the devices in the castle to find Aleksis.
Start by getting to the shutters at the other end of the masquerade room - we marked it in the picture. It's best to use the Shift to teleport first onto the hanging objects and the to the window.
On the floor you can encounter several ball guests - it's worth getting rid of them quietly (there's a device nearby that you can hack and distract the enemies).
To identify the Visionary go right and examine the DJ's machine from the picture above. You will have to complete a puzzle of finding Aleksis' favorite melody so that he would appear on the dance floor and get unmasked.
You must reach the upper floor of the castle - you can walk around the dance floor from the other side or teleport yourself. Near the stairs, you will find a door that will lead to toilets.
Next to the toilet, you will find a second controller. You have to remember its combination, which is unfortunately random.
Go back to the first DJ machine and start pressing its buttons to copy the combination found in the toilet.
After you have done this correctly, wait a moment. Aleksis will appear downstairs, and when he speaks, you'll be able to confirm him as a mission objective.
The most obvious option involves attacking Aleksis from the upper balconies - but mind that you will alert the whole area that way, so you have to be ready to escape from the castle (preferably by the same route).
If you have a silent weapon, you can try to stealthy eliminate more people from the dance floor because they will have problems locating Colt.
