Deathloop: How to heal?
This page of the Deathloop guide explains how to heal the hero and regain lost health points. We also inform you about additional ways of regeneration.
This page of the Deathloop game guide provides detailed information on how to heal your main character after taking damage. We have compiled the main ways to recover health as well as alternative methods to improve your vitality and hit point regeneration.
How to restore health?

The most important thing to remember is that the main character's health doesn't regenerate automatically. You should keep this in mind, because the health bar isn't very long and enemy attacks can quickly reduce the main character's health to zero (we described the consequences of the main character's death on the Death and respawning page).
Fiz-Pop drinks
There are specific ways to recover health and you always have two main options. The first is drinking Fiz-Pop. These are frequently found during gameplay. Unfortunately, you can't take the drinks with you (for later), so the most reasonable solution upon taking damage is to withdraw from the fighting area and search for healing items. The good news is that you can often find multiple Fiz-Pops at a time, allowing you to recover more hp.

Health stations
The second method is using health stations. They are much more effective, because a single station is able to restore a lot more hit points than Fiz-Pop. Once used, the station will become inactive, but after some time, it will become usable again and, if necessary, you will be able to return to it and use it again.

Trinkets
In addition to maintaining your main character's health, you can improve their vitality and health regeneration with trinkets, which are special objects found in the game world (a trinket will only activate once placed in an active slot). You will be able to:
- recover hit points faster (after using Fiz-Pops or heath stations),
- recover more hit points at a time

Various other talismans, plate and weapon upgrades in the game will also affect your character's health. For example, the Nexus parasite upgrade allows you to recover health points by dealing damage to enemies affected by this ability. Read descriptions of the objects you discover to find as many options to improve your vitality as possible.
