Deathloop: Is there time limit?

This page of the Deathloop guide answers two questions - do you need to finish the game in a limited time, and is there a time limit during the relevant events. This information can be significant if you want to know if you need to hurry up with your next steps as you progress through the campaign.

1. The game's concept is that Colt has 24 hours to kill eight Visionaries- the main antagonists in the game world. The main character can choose which island areas he will explore first and the order of targets. Each failure will restart the cycle, and the assassination of the 8 antagonists have to start again.
2. It is worth noting that initially, it is not possible to kill all Visionaries on the same day. Thus, don't expect that you'll finish the game in 1-2 hours. You're going to have to make some preparations for the Visionaries to show up in the right places at the right time. Specifically, take care of the Visionary Leads, included in our walkthrough, which will unlock the Ending It game finale.
3. You can re-visit the locations in the game at different times of the day, and it can be morning, mid-day, afternoon, and night. Choosing the time of day is not only cosmetic because some events can happen at different times of the day. The Visionaries can also be in other places and do different things.
4. There is no time limit when exploring the locations - there is no inside clock that could show the current time and count down to the next day. You will be able to explore the place leisurely at the previously selected time of day and plan the killings. The game won't in any way rush you in exploring the locations or killing the Visionaries from a given area.
