Deathloop: Campaign - how to reset? Deathloop guide, walkthrough

This page of the guide to Deathloop contains information on resetting Colt's story campaign to start the storyline from the beginning. That may be useful because Deathloop doesn't have standard options like New game or Load game.

1. Each time you start the game, a menu will appear with only two options: Break the Loop (continue the campaign playing as Colt) and Protect the Loop (attack other players in online mode as Julianna). You will not find there any standard options to start a new game or load previous save. It makes deleting or overwriting your progress more complicated.
2. You can try to remove the saves manually - finding them saved on the hard drive of your computer or console. However, this is not a very convenient method.
3. The game allows you to start a new campaign of Colt from the moment of the first awakening on the beach without progress transferred between loops and without completed leads (missions). To do this, go to the options menu and select Reset Colt's Progression from the bottom left corner of the screen. However, we warn you again that choosing it will result in the loss of completed missions, discovered leads, and items kept thanks to Residuum.
4. In the case of Julianna, there is no reset option, but playing as her doesn't unlock story content. Playing as Julianna only takes part in non-mandatory invasions on other players ' worlds.
