Dragon Age Veilguard: Can you romance multiple people?

One of the more interesting mechanics in Dragon Age Veilguard is the ability to form romantic relationships with party members. On this page of the guide, we will help the undecided and reveal whether it is possible to have a romantic relationship with several characters at the same time and what the consequences are.

Can you romance multiple companions at once?

Up to a certain point in Dragon Age Veilguard, it is possible to flirt with any number of characters. You can recognize flirty dialogue options by the heart icon. They increase your mutual relationship with the character and can lead to a lasting relationship over time. Until then, feel free to select heart icons while talking to multiple companions without any consequences.

Once your relationship with a character reaches a certain level, you will be given the opportunity to establish an exclusive, permanent relationship with that character during one of the conversations. The game will clearly inform you about this with a note above the dialogue options. A permanent relationship will prevent you from romancing other companions.

If you decide not to pursue a full relationship, romancing the rejected character will no longer be available. Remember to make a conscious choice.
