Dredge: How to pay off the debt in Greater Marrow?

Dredge starts with a bang - the hero's trusty ship sinks.after crashing with the lighthouse hill. The nearby Greater Marrow settlement refits you with a boat, but to become its owner, you need to pay off a debt. Greater Marrow Loan

Your first task once the game begins is to catch your first fish and return with them to the starting town of Greater Marrow. While there, you'll learn from the Mayor that he gave the hero a Loan to pay for the received ship. This is the ship that replaces the wrecked vessel.

The loan amounts to 50$ and fortunately this is not much. If you're ready to get your hands dirty, you'll pay it off in no time.

Selling fish

There are 2 main ways of repaying the loan. The first is more time-consuming and involves taking a part of your profit from caught fish and giving it to the Mayor. This percentile is taken each time you sell a caught fish to the Fishmonger. You can track the status of the debt through messages appearing in the upper left corner of the screen.

Paying off the debt faster

There is a way to pay off the whole debt faster. Once in the Greater Marrow menu, point to the Mayor NPC found in the bottom left cornerand press the action button to initiate a conversation.

Choose the I'd like to pay off some of my debt topic.

A number of options will appear - choose All of it. Remember that to pay off the whole debt, you need to have at least 50$ made from selling fish. Solving the problem of the Loan will unlock new mechanics and quests.
