Dredge The Iron Rig: How to upgrade the Hull to tier 5?

Tier 5 Hull is a unique ship upgrade that you can obtain in The Iron Rig DLC for Dredge. This guide page will outline all the steps needed to mount the hull: building Fleet Services on the rig and unlocking the hull on the ship upgrade tree. For these efforts you will also earn the Hull: Industrial achievement.

Building Fleet Services

1. After you complete the Defend the Rig Pursuit and build defenses to chase away the sea monster, the Executive will appear on the rig.

1. The Iron Fleet Pursuit will be unlocked. It involves the construction of the Fleet Services building on the rig.
2. To construct Fleet Services, you need 1 Ironhaven Crate.

Purchasing Tier 5 Hull upgrade

1. Constructing Fleet Services will unlock the ship upgrade tree. You'll notice that it now contains the Tier 5 Hull (highlighted in the screenshot above).

Unlocking the ultimate hull has some requirements:

1. Purchasing all Tier 4 upgrades - this is the previous column in the upgrade tree;
2. 2 Ironhaven Crates and $2,500 - you must use them after gaining access to the last position on the tree.

1. The Tier 5 Hull will expand the ship's cargo hold by 11 slots and it will allow you to transport more things. Additionally, you will be awarded the Hull: Industrial trophy.
