In recent years, the top-of-the-line AAA games have grown a lot in size. The shorter ones, which can be completed in a few evenings, are fortunately not yet lost. At least a dozen have appeared this year – and they're all here!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

The Call of Duty series needs no introduction, and this list couldn't be complete without it. It is a real leader among this type of games. Activision is still focused on providing a linear, bombastic FPS games, depicting fictional (but not only) armed conflicts. This was actually the fifth release with Modern Warfare subtitle. During the seventh generation, there was a whole trilogy, then rebooted in 2019.
While this sequel does not enjoy as much recognition as the original (originals?) and just isn't as memorable anymore, it still offers a great story. As long as you can get over the new mechanics (for example crafting) or a few underwhelming moments. However, it's still worth playing, because the core ingredients are all pretty much flawless. We're talking about a shooting model that's second to none in the genre. That alone is reason enough to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Perhaps you will be among those who enjoyed the entire campaign. And if that wasn't enough for you, there's also a multiplayer mode.
