Tools Up! by the Polish Knights of Unity studio features graphic design evoking associations with another collaborative hit, the Overcooked series. The rules of the game also turn out to be quite convergent, though battle-hardened chefs will soon find out that Tools Up! is much easier. Even in a two-man team, winning all stars at the first levels goes like a storm and only the later stages require a bit more commitment.
The theme is also different. Instead of cooking a variety of dishes in extreme conditions, this time we are invited to join a repair team working on Wall painting, wallpaper, tile, or parquet floors.
While the first orders are fairly simple and involve painting one room or spreading the carpet in another, things get complicated over time. First, we have to remove the old paint, and then cover the wall with quick-drying glue before the wallpaper is laid. The design of the levels doesn't make the task any easier either – there are ice sheets in the flats that you can slip on, or a swimming pool that you can fall into. To fit within the time limit requires not only cooperation, but above all not harming each other.
