We must have an idea for the next battle before we go in - this means choosing the right knights and giving them adequate weapons. On the battlefield itself, in addition to your squad, you also need to factor in landform and destroy its elements to attain an advantage. This is definitely a position for people who like challenges and adrenaline rushes when it gets really hot.
