The bumpy road that Cyberpunk 2077 has done after the controversial release has come to an end and the game has finally achieved satisfactory state. Subsequent patches and, above all, the long-awaited next-gen update have delivered the quality we expected from the get-go. The developers followed suit and also announced a much-anticipated story expansion called Phantom Liberty. This DLC will only be available on current-gen consoles and PC, so this time, we're expecting a smooth release.
At The Game Awards, we saw a longer trailer for this expansion, which revealed that Idris Elba will join the cast next to Keanu Reeves and others. In addition, the outline of the story with V working for the US government has been confirmed, and the whole thing is to be kept in the convention of a spy thriller. Even if the length of the expansion doesn't seem all that impressive (estimated around 15 hours), it will undoubtedly be nice to return to Night City and see hot the game will change with yet another major update.
