When LEGO The Lord of the Rings debuted, it seemed that Traveller's Tales had long since devoured its own tail. Over the past decade, however, more productions like that have appeared, generally very similar in their assumptions. As shown, for example, by the success of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, players still don't have enough of the nice bricks people visiting numerous universes.
This is definitely a nice adventure, especially to share with your kids or nieces and nephews. The cooperation mode can be a lot of fun with other players. During short sessions with friends, LEGO The Lord of the Rings works perfectly. For the youngest, it can also be an interesting position, allowing them both to enter the world of gaming and get to know – quite superficially, but still – the universe created by Tolkien.
Although I prefer to accompany Frodo on his journey to Mordor on the pages of books or watching the Jackson trilogy once again, the high, fifth place in our ranking of LEGO The Lord of the Rings is a testament to the solid quality of this seemingly infantile game.
