A few more December gems
In December, I'm basically just waiting for Guild Wars Reforged. I hope the refreshed version of this title doesn't share the fate of Warcraft 3: Reforged, because I really want to relive this adventure. I also encourage you to take a look at the project that led to the creation of the excellent Guild Wars 2. And what are other members of the editorial team planning to play?
Blood: Refreshed Supply
Blood is one of my favorite shooters from the '90s, and I still have fond memories of playing it on my first PC. I'm very pleased that the second (!) remaster of this FPS, with the rather charming title Blood: Refreshed Supply, coming out in December, will not miss the console versions this time, which are my preferred platforms for playing Nightdive classics. I only have concerns about the price – 30 bucks for the recent remaster (or port) of Outlaws is definitely too much. If Blood is priced similarly, I'll have to think twice about buying it at launch, even though I'm really eager to help Caleb with his (bloody) revenge again.

Ferocious
It looks like a combination of Crysis and Turok – what more could you want? Maybe it turns out to be something really awesome because it looks way too good for an indie game from an unknown studio. A lot is happening in the trailer, and it all looks nice – the only question is whether it will be playable and engaging, as Ferocious appeared somewhat unexpectedly with its release date. Fingers crossed it turns out to be at least a decent FPS and one of this year's surprises.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion
I grew up on arcade machines, where titles like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs were leading the way. The era of beat 'em up games might be long gone, but it seems like no one told the creators of Marvel Cosmic Invasion, who have kind of brought this genre back to life. I enjoyed playing the demo a lot, so in December, I'll be donning a superhero suit and trying to stop the invasion of the evil Annihilus.
