Sites of Grace

Sites of grace are found almost everywhere and are very densely distributed. They act as checkpoints where you respawn after death, but they also offer many other features. By resting at a site of grace, you can, e.g. spend runes to increase your level, refill healing flasks, or equip other sorceries and incantations.

Bosses

Bosses are powerful, unique enemies whose health bars are visible at the bottom of the screen. Some are mandatory, others optional. Defeating each boss rewards you with a large number of runes and often additional, useful rewards. On a separate page, you'll find a list of all the bosses in the game, along with links to dedicated pages.

Sacred Tears

Sacred Tears are items used to upgrade your healing flasks. You can find them in Marika's churches, at the queen's statue. Collecting tears and using them at a site of grace permanently increases the health and mana restored by your flasks. Maps

Each map you find reveals a specific portion of the area you are currently in. Therefore, finding maps is crucial and helps with orientation. Maps are located at distinctive pedestals. On a separate page of this guide, you will learn where to find maps of regions.

Divine Towers

Divine Towers are locations at the top of which you can activate Great Runes - unique rewards received for defeating certain main bosses. Activating a Great Rune allows you to equip it, and each Great Rune has powerful, unique effects.

Ancient Smithing Stones

Ancient Smithing Stones are the best and rarest weapon upgrade materials in the game. You need them to upgrade your weapons to their maximum level. Ancient Stones can upgrade common weapons, while Somber Ancient Stones are used to upgrade unique weapons. A separate page of this guide explains where to find all the Ancient Smithing Stones.

Ashes of War

Ashes of War are modifications you can use on standard weapons (not unique the unique ones). Each Ash of War gives the weapon a different special attack. You can also use them to change the weapon's scaling, which affects the damage it deals and the stats it draws power from. Spirit Ashes

Spirit Ashes allow you to summon spectral allies to support you during combat. They significantly facilitate boss fights by dealing additional damage and distracting enemies. On a separate page of the guide, you'll find the locations of all legendary ashes, which are the best ashes in the game.

Bell Bearings

Bell Bearings are items that expand the shop's inventory. Return them to the shopkeeper in the Roundtable Hold, and you'll be able to buy new items from that NPC.

Deathroots

Deathroots are items tied to the Beast Clergyman's quest. You must bring him enough roots to complete the quest and receive unique rewards in return. The quest description and root locations can be found on a separate page of this guide.

Sorceries

Sorceries are one of two types of magic attacks in the game. They are based on intelligence and can be cast with staffs. A separate page of this guide lists and lists the locations of all legendary sorceries in the game.
