Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Yakuza 5 Remastered

While playing in Yakuza 5 Remastered, we play as five heroes, hitting the middle of the war between the Tojo clan and the Omi alliance. In addition to the fictional Kamurocho, the title is available to us in four other districts located in Osaka, Fukuoce, Sapporo and Nagoya.
My Friend Pedro

Platform action game, in which we play as a dancing hero, with gracefulness eliminating opponents standing in his way. While playing My Friend Pedro, we travel through industrial locations and kill enemies, making use of both firearms (with a pair of pistols at the forefront) and environmental elements.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is a free-to-play multiplayer action game developed by Epic Games. The game is based on the battle royale formula and is similar to e.g. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. A hundred players are transported onto an island with almost nothing in their inventory. The player is tasked with finding or looting weapons, traps, and other pieces of gear.
ReCore: Definitive Edition

An improved edition of the 2016 ReCore, developed by Comcept in cooperation with Armature and published by Microsoft Studios. In the game, the player assumes the role of Joule Adams, who is one of the last existing humans. She was supposed to prepare the planet of Far Eden for colonization; something went wrong, however, and now she has to fight for her life with the help of a robot called Mack.
A Way Out

An action-adventure game developed by Hazelight in collaboration with Electronic Arts, and designed with co-op gameplay for two people in mind. The main protagonists in A Way Out are two convicts: Vincent and Leo. Together they are devising a way to escape from prison and then build their lives anew outside its walls. When it comes to mechanics A Way Out offers quite a variety in gameplay.
Strange Brigade

A TPP shooter game set in the alternative 1930s, developed by Rebellion. The game allows you to explore the mysterious nooks of the British Empire and discovers the secrets left by ancient civilizations. The task is made more difficult by the fact that such locations are guarded by fantastic beasts revived by Seteki, the Egyptian witch-queen. The gameplay of Strange Brigade focuses on bloody battles with varied mythological creatures.
Zombi

A Ubisoft Monpellier production and a next-gen conversion of ZombieU, a game released in late 2012 on Nintendo Wii U console. The game is set in a virtual London, featuring the digital copies of all of its key landmarks. The inhabitants of the British capital have turned into bloodthirsty zombies and roam the streets in search for food. Players become the survivors, who need to find shelter and supplies in order to have a chance against the living dead.

You assume the role of Franko from the original title, who was washing dishes in Great Britain for years. Finally, he makes up his mind and goes back to his hometown in Poland. The hero’s turbulent past got him into new trouble, which assault him already on his way home.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation

Another installment of the popular FPP shooter series created in 2004 by the Polish studio People Can Fly. The game was developed by the team at The Farm 51, founded by people involved in the creation of the original. The players assume the role of Daniel Garner who died in a car crash along with his wife. The protagonist is tasked with dealing with infernal hordes, which will allow him to redeem himself and join his beloved in the afterlife.
Space Hulk: Deathwing

One of several video games based on Space Hulk - a board game created by Games Workshop and set in the world of Warhammer 40,000. In the case of Space Hulk: Deathwing, the players receive a fast-paced first-person shooter created as a result of the cooperation between Cyanide (the Blood Bowl series) and Streum On Studio (E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy). The player is put in the shoes of the titular Deathwing squad's member.

An action-adventure game with role-playing elements by indie studio EKO software. The main story campaign is set in an archipelago of four small islands near the coast of Columbia. This seemingly idyllic place turns out to be infested with ravenous zombies. The protagonists (you can choose from Abby, Jack or Kenji) need to rely on their determination and survival skills in this hostile environment.

A refreshed version of a third-person perspective action-adventure game from 1999. The remake was prepared by Appeal – a reincarnation of the studio responsible for the original version. Outcast: Second Contact takes place in a science-fiction world, inspired by Stargate – a popular fictional universe, depicted in a number of movies and TV series.

A new installment in a popular series of space shooters developed by Descendent Studios and funded thanks to a crowdfunding campaign which managed to accrue over 600,000 dollars. Descent: Underground takes us to near future, where a live feed from a war for resources between mining capsules, known as Underground Games, serves as the main source of entertainment for the wealthy and powerful. The players assume control of VTOL-like ships fighting for their lives as well as fame and sponsors.

An online shooter set in the fictional universe featuring two feuding Transformer factions - Autobots and Decepticons. Gameplay mechanics are inspired by the popular Overwatch. In consecutive matches, two-Transformer teams fight each other with the goal to annihilate the enemy team.
X-Morph: Defense

Developed by an independent studio called Exor, X-Morph: Defense is an original twin-stick shooter with tower defense elements. The game shows an unpleasant vision of the future, in which the Earth has fallen victim to an alien invasion. Instead of defending the Blue Planet, the player assumes control over an Alien ship with an objective to face waves of human adversaries and defend enormous devices extracting resources and altering the Earth’s atmosphere.

Players become the brains of a zombie apocalypse of the purest form, and their task is to spread the epidemic across the whole world. The main issue is the intelligence of our subjects, or rather the complete lack of it. The mechanics of gameplay in Zombie Terror are inspired by a cult classic series called Lemmings.
Metal Gear Survive

Metal Gear Survive creates an alternative version of the events seen in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros, in which the oil rig housing the self-appointed country has been destroyed by XOF, a ravenous military wing of CIA.

An action survival game developed by a Square Enix subsidiary – the development team consisted of such industry veterans as Yoji Shinkawa (the Metal Gear Solid franshise), Toshifumi Nabeshima (the Armored Core series) and Takayuki Yanase (Xenoblade Chronicles X). This game is set in the universe created for the Front Mission series. The players assume the role of three heroes trapped in a war-torn Russian city. Left Alive presents the events in the third-person perspective.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII
