Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap

A remake of the classic 8-bit platform game Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, originally released in 1989, developed by Lizardcube. You play as the eponymous hero, who has to kill a dragon lurking in a cave. Unfortunately, by fulfilling his task he brings upon himself a mysterious curse, which transforms him into a humanoid lizard, and his new objective is to get rid of the spell.
The Disney Afternoon Collection

A collection of six action games based on classic Disney cartoons. The collection was developed by Capcom and it contains games that were released in late 80s and early 90s on Nintendo Entertainment System. The Disney Afternoon Collection contains the following titles: DuckTales (1989), Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (1990), TaleSpin (1991), Darkwing Duck (1992), Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (1993) and Duck Tales 2 (1993). All titles were remastered and adapted to modern gaming platforms.
Team Kirby Clash Deluxe

A multiplayer action game by Nintendo, utilizing a free-to-play model. As the title implies, the players take on the roles of Kirbys, who participate in team battles with boss enemies threatening the Dream Kingdom. The team can consist of up to four players, and to win you have to cooperate with others and make use of your strengths. There are four kinds of Kirbys to choose from (Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Doctor Healmore and Beam Mage), and every one of them has their own unique abilities.

A science-fiction rhythm game developed Mad Fellows. Aaero does not offer an elaborate narrative layer, focusing on allowing the player to control a small ship hovering above ground and fight the enemies that appear on the screen. The ship’s movements can be controlled with the analog sticks. The player is tasked with following the precise track and sticking to a white ribbon, which boosts the score multiplier.
A Rose in the Twilight

A 2D platform game by Japanese studio Nippon Ichi Software. The game's protagonist wakes up in a mysterious castle devoid of colors, and discovers that an unknown force froze the flow of time. She can, however, reverse those effects by using a thorn that has grown on her back. Fortunately, the protagonist is not alone — she is accompanied by a friendly giant, who is helping her escape the enormous fortress by lifting and throwing heavy objects.

Old-school, two-dimensional platformer, a model of the game referring to the classic Sega series, whose main character is Sonic the Hedgehog. The production was created thanks to a collection on the Kickstarer portal. The independent studio Feperd Games is responsible for its creation.
Yooka-Laylee

Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer developed by Playtonic Games, a studio created by the experienced developers who played a crucial role in the development of Rare's biggest games. The game's title is a blend of the protagonists names. Yooka, the first of them, is a chameleon who has an unusually long tongue, which can be used to grab onto various surfaces and cover large distances. The other one, Laylee, is a bat who can use sonic attacks.

We play the role of the title warrior, who breaks through successive locations, eliminating the hosts of enemies with the use of a shooting guitar. Production is available in two versions, using a Kinect 2.0 controller or a traditional gamepad.
HackyZack

A platformer in which, in addition to jumping on the platforms, our task is to reflect balls of various properties. Depending on the mode selected, the tasks in HackyZack consist in reaching the exit or destroying all the diamonds on the board.

An action platform game with logical puzzles. It was developed by British studio Sumo Digital. The title is based on a prototype created by Seba Liese during a Game Jam. Snake pass tells a story about the adventures of a snake and his friend, a hummingbird. Together they must find keys to the magical gates that provide magical power to the Harmony Foothills. They are doing it in order to defeat a mysterious intruder who threatens the lives of the inhabitants of the realm.
Rain World

A hybrid of a platform and a survival game. The title was developed by two people – Joar Lisberg Jakobsson was the lead programmer and the author of the idea of the game while the music was composed by James Primate. The game takes place in a hostile post-industrial realm filled with complicated machinery. The environment is constantly plagued by downpours and the animals that live in it are forced to hide from the rain in a hibernated state.

The work of the British duo Bitmap Bureau and Rising Star Games puts before us the ambitious task of passing 88 boards in 88 minutes. In addition, for each level we get only 88 seconds. If we fail, the evil Doctor H8 will fire 88 nuclear warheads towards Earth and our planet will cease to exist.

At first sight, Chicken Scream looks like your typical platformer presented from a side-scrolling perspective where we simply have to keep going to the right, jump, avoid traps, and collect golden coins. What makes it stand out among other platformers is the fact that we control our protagonist with voice.

A blend of a 2D platformer and a simple shoot'em-up game by Inti Creates. The production is another installment in the series, which started in 1988. The protagonists are skilled scientist Jason Frudnick and Fred, a mysterious creature he discovered. When the latter escapes the laboratory, Jason pursues him. He ends up in a cave, where he finds an advanced, battle-ready vehicle called Sophia-III. Blaster Master Zero features two game modes.
Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment

Specter of Torment is a free DLC for the fan-favorite platform game Shovel Knight, developed by Yacht Club Games. This time, we play as a new protagonist, the titular Specter. The expansion takes place before the events of the base game. In terms of gameplay, Specter of Torment is identical to the base game, combining the elements of a 2D platformer, an RPG, and an action-adventure game. Once again, we observe the game from a side perspective.
Super Bomberman R

Super Bomberman R is another game in the popular Bomberman series and a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, developed by Konami. The game has 3D visuals, but we observe the action from the classic top-down perspective. We play as the titular Bomberman, and our job is to eliminate enemies we encounter on various maps with the bombs at our disposal. Even though the gameplay mechanics are not that complex, a more tactical approach is needed when entering new levels.
1-2-Switch

1-2-Switch is an original party game developed by Nintendo for Switch, their newest console. Gameplay is based on two-person competition - players take part in various contests, playing as pirates, gunslingers, and other characters. What makes 1-2-Switch stand out from the crowd of other similar games is that we are not watching the screen while playing, but facing our opponent face to face. Thanks to that unique approach, the screen is used mostly for showing the score.
Shift Happens

A hybrid of a platformer and a logic game, developed by the independent studio Klonk Games. The player takes control of Bismo and Plom – jelly-like humanoid creatures. By some accident, the heroes get literally bound together, which enables them to exchange their masses. Gameplay of Shift Happens consists in traveling through colorful locations, collecting valuable coins, and solving more and less demanding puzzles which require close cooperation between the two heroes.

The player assumes control over the titular research probe that is tasked with exploring an uncharted, hostile planet in search of a powerful energy source that emanates from its core. forma.8 sees us traverse a hostile world in a manner similar to other metroidvania titles.
MX Nitro

A wacky motocross game, developed by Saber Interactive. The players participate in races taking place on over 40 diversified tracks while riding various cross motorcycles. Depending on the chosen game mode, the objective is either to be the first to reach the finish line, or to gain a certain point advantage over the opponents. As an award for their efforts, the players can race against one of 13 bosses.

A maze-based logic game developed by Vivid Helix. Our job is to help two medusa-like creatures in navigating an abstract maze in search of an exit. Interestingly enough, each creature has its own version of the same level, forcing us to control both characters simultaneously using analog sticks.
Splasher

An original platform game created by Splashteam - an independent studio founded by a former Ubisoft employee, who had co-created such games as Rayman Origins or Rayman Legends. Splasher takes the player to the headquarters of Inkorp, a company managed by Le Docteur. This ominous figure decides to break the daily routine at the company and bring the workers to their knees. One of the employees is the game's protagonist, who tries to stop the villain and save his co-workers.
