A hand-held spin-off to the popular series of stealth games developed by Konami. The game was developed for PlayStation Portable and builds upon 2004's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The story of the game shows further life of Big Boss. Together with an army of mercenaries under his command, he travels to Puerto Rico to investigate why the US government, together with CIA, is backing up a military group present on the island. The gameplay mechanics don’t vary very much from the main installments. However, this time the developers focused on a cooperation mode supporting between 2 and 4 players. The players can complete missions together and help each other during difficult battles. A completely new feature introduced in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is the option to manage Big Boss’ military base. During the game, player can recruit new soldiers, assign them to various sections and send on missions across the world.

Depths of Darkhollow was created by Daybreak Game Company - the team that has developed the franchise from the very beginning. This time, the players are taken to a dark, underground world where a new evil has arisen. Apart from a new storyline and sixty quests, the expansion brings seven additional locations, as well as a set of abilities and spells for one's in-game character. Depths of Darkhollow brings new items as well; interestingly, some of those grow in strength alongside the character's progression and have their own sense of will. Furthermore, the expansion pack offers an ability to transform one's character into a monster and this ability has missions designed specifically for using it. We play as the titular green dinosaur Yoshi, one of the main mascots of the Japanese company; the game expands on concept of Kirby’s Epic Yarn. We received a classic platformer in 2.5D, in which our hero is followed by running eggs, which can be shot at various targets or parts of scenery. Thanks to the world being made of yarn, many objects can be unraveled to unlock new paths and secrets. Yoshi’s Wooly World offers a cooperation mode for two players. Each three-dimensional location is made of virtual yarn, and every character resembles a handcrafted puppet filled with cotton.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars is a 2D logic platform game developed by Nintendo. The game uses the most famous characters from the company's cult games. In Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars we have to make our way through a series of levels where reaching the destination requires us to be creative when facing the many obstacles on our way. Characters move by themselves and go in one direction all the time, changing it only when they bounce off the wall. Players will have to build bridges and blockades in order to lead their heroes from one place to another. The amount of points they get depends on how fast they do so. The game has minimalistic 2D visuals, but it comes with a level editor that allows us to create our own levels and share them with other players.

The second installment of the highly-rated series of tactical real time strategy games, developed by an independent developer NorbSoftDev. Scourge of War: Waterloo takes us to 1815 to take part in one of the greatest clashes in history, in which Napoleon’s army was crushed by the forces of Seventh Coalition, spearheaded by English and Prussian forces. The players can take control over one of the sides, and save Napoleon from defeat, or contribute to his demise by leading the forces of the aforementioned coalition. The gameplay takes place on faithfully recreated, three-dimensional maps, while the players – depending on the type of the scenario, control the battle on a few levels, from a small regiment up to a large army. The landform and weather condition also play a part, while the developers took every measure to make the game historically accurate, including the appearance and weaponry of the individual forces, and the silhouettes of historical leaders.
