The expansion introduces new maps, including the area of what is now Great Britain and Scandinavia, and a new campaign, in which your main objective is conquering the British Isles. You can lead eight new factions, including, of course, Vikings, as well as Saxons, Scots, Welshmen and Irishmen. There are also three new playable nations for the core game campaign: Sicilians, Hungarians and the Aragonese. The expansion also features new units, previously unavailable weapons and the option to spot the enemy troops before and during certain moments of the battle.

Heroes Chronicles: Masters of the Elements is the fifth game in the Heroes of Might and Magic spin-off miniseries, based on the mechanics from the fan favourite - the third installment of the main series. In Master of the Elements we witness the end of a thousands of years old truce between the Elemental Lords of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Given the task to stop the Elements vengeance, Tarnum goes after all four of the Elemental Lords. After he defeats them, he also has to destroy portals that lead to the Elemental Planes. In terms of gameplay, Masters of the Elements is very much similar to the main games in the series. However, Masters offers only a rather short single player campaign, without the option to play individual scenarios. The game also has no multiplayer modes.
