A unique simulation game, in which you construct increasingly wacky rollercoasters, and then test them on thrill-seeking people. The game was created by Frontier Development, known for e.g. the latest installment in the Zoo Tycoon and the Thrillville and Rollercoaster Tycoon series. Unlike the latter one, ScreamRide does not feature an economic aspect, and your actions serve science and research on the limits of human beings. The gameplay focuses on completing a series of tasks, in which the key is the fear and scream level among the people riding your rollercoaster. You can also test your tracks yourself, by steering the rollercoaster in the arcade mode. The game features fully destructible environment and advanced physics, apparent in e.g. the spectacular results of your less successful experiments.

A console port of an independent old school fighting game, Yatagarasu, which became quite a success in 2011 in Japan. Legend of Raven takes us to 25th December 1926, when Japan faces a revolution. The government establishes a secret organization of assassins, who are ordered to restore the order and kill anyone opposing the authorities. For its symbol, the group takes a mythical three-legged raven Yatagarasu. Gameplay wise, Legend of Raven is a classic two-dimensional fighting game, featuring an old school style resembling the first entries in the Street Fighter series. The players can choose from various heroes, each with a unique special attack. Gameplay is fast-paced and uses 4-button control, with addition of upper and lower guard. Visuals consist of well-drawn backgrounds and character sprites. This version also features a new soundtrack and better background, as well as improved multiplayer mode.

Its story takes us to a land filled with magic and fantasy races, while the game itself concentrates on skirmishes between two teams of five people. Each player takes control of a selected hero with unique skills and equipment. The teams don’t fight by themselves though, as they are supported by eponymous giants, controlled by AI, the most durable and deadly units in the game. The main objective is to defeat the opposing team’s giant, which can be weakened by capturing certain points on the map. Typically for such games, we observe everything from third-person perspective and develop our characters during a match, use environmental objects, and combine attacks into deadly combos.

What role will Miss Burnes play in this intrigue depends entirely on player’s actions. Sunset uses first-person perspective as we fulfill not only basic objectives, but also side activities that let us discover more of the plot. Building better or worse relationship with our boss is crucial – Ortega will react to our actions, leaving us letters or notes. Gameplay is complemented by simple, but climatic visuals created with Unity engine.

The story is told from the perspective of a criminal novel writer who also doubles as the narrator of the story. Them game progresses is nonlinear, as the player’s decisions shape not only the plot, but also affect the fate of the narrator.

To achieve this, we explore the diversified open world in search of a shelter and materials, which will allow us to craft basic tools, weapons, armor, and other useful items. Thanks to a simple to learn crafting system, we will easily raise mighty fortresses and construct various siege machines. Our character will develop in the direction set by activities he or she performs most often. In the constantly changing in-game world, we will meet other players, with their tasks being convergent with ours; though it is for us to decide if we compete with them or cooperate, creating micro-societies.

The gameplay mechanics have not changed much since the first installment, as they build on traversing consecutive locations on a skateboard and performing breakneck tricks and evolutions. On their way, the players are bound to encounter multiple obstacles such as quarter pipes, hills, etc. - one's objective is to get the best score possible for performing the tricks. For the game, the developers have designed five entirely new levels based on real-life locations associated with the movie industry. A horror-themed action-adventure game allowing us to assume the role of Juliette Waters, a woman whose occupation is recording the voices of spirits. Interestingly enough, Sylvio is a project of an independent developer, Niklas Swanberg. Our heroine travels to an abandoned amusement park, left to decay after a powerful storm had led to a landslide. It quickly turns out that the spirits living in the park are very vicious, and the whole area is under the influence of a mysterious curse. Juliette has to escape the cursed amusement park and discover the truth about the curse, staving off frightening dangers at the same time. The heroin has a few tricks up her sleeve – an unusual shotgun powered by pressurized air, able to propel any object that fits the barrel, and a very sensitive microphone that works on frequencies out of the range of the human ear. Such recordings can be saved and listened to in a customized speed, as the messages from the spirits are sometimes unintelligible. Aside from exploration and occasional combat, Sylvio often introduces puzzles solved in a typical adventure-game manner.

The game mostly takes place in the large undergrounds inhabited by various wild animals. While traveling through the dark metropolis, Arno is facing enemies and solving puzzles that are taking him closer to solving the mysteries of the area. The graphics and the story are much darker than those of the base game. It is worth mentioning that the protagonist can use a new weapon, the guillotine gun.

The player takes on the role of a criminologist by the name of Smith, whose wife got murdered and his children were kidnapped by unknown assailants. Despite the fact that 17 years have passed since then, the protagonist still searches for his children and those who killed his beloved woman - Smith tracks down subsequent serial killers who target juvenile victims. The player explores numerous dark locations and gathers various items that help either to avoid threats or to deal with them. However, the game focuses on saving those who have become targets, instead of punishing the psychopaths. Once the protagonist stumbles on innocents, they join Smith and collectively create a line of original figures following the protagonist. The children can be controlled by issuing simple commands. The player's actions get rewarded with bonus points when they manage to save a large number of children.

You also need to take care of your team's health, since death in Lost Sea is permanent, and every companion has unique abilities and personality, and their loss can make things more difficult for you. The threats to the castaways' lives include e.g. wild animals, but they can be fought off with the use of the simple combat system. Apart from that, you need to gather food and resources needed to build your ship—but their amount is scarce, so you have to think carefully before using them up. The game's world is generated procedurally, so you can never know where you'll find something interesting or dangerous. Lost Sea utilizes 3D cartoon graphics in isometric view.

A multiplayer-oriented action game set in space, developed by the creators of Strike Suit Zero series, Edge Case Games Studio. Its story is set in the distant future, in which humanity has colonized many foreign star systems. The game doesn’t offer much of a backstory though, focusing on online skirmishes for teams of up to five players. Each players takes control of a powerful ship belonging to one of several classes, each equipped with a different set of on-board system and weaponry. However, every capital ship is the core of an armada of smaller ships, which we control like units in classic RTS titles. A turn-based role-playing game by Tactical Simulations Interactive, based on the productions by SSI. Seven Dragon Saga is set in a magical fantasy universe, its center being the Empire of the Seven Dragons. The game's protagonists are a group of heroes affected by the magical forces of the winds of chaos. When the world stands at the brink of war, the heroes are sent to the Kingdom of Afelon to find the one responsible for inciting the people from lesser countries to rebel against the Empire. You take control of a group of six people, who — unlike many other RPG player characters — are already seasoned warriors, although their skills can still be developed. The gameplay focuses on exploration, completing quests, and turn-based combat. To succeed, you not only have to use your characters' abilities, but also to utilize the topography and the objects you find on the maps.

RIDE is a realistic motorcycle racing game developed by the experienced studio Milestone, creators of the well-known game series like Screamer, SBK, MotoGP, or WRC: FIA World Rally Championship. There are over one hundred motor bikes, divided into four categories, available in RIDE. We can modify all of them, in terms of both design and technical aspects. Races take place in fifteen diversified locations, among which we will find the professional Grand Prix race tracks and tracks located in cities and outside of them. As the game leans towards simulation, even the smallest mistake can cost us the entire race. At the same time, many facilities were implemented to make the driving model more arcade and enjoyable for the less experienced players. There are seven game modes available, all of them being playable in both single player and multiplayer.

Izle is an arcade RPG developed by Area Effect. The game takes us to a fantasy land that drifts in space and is the last remaining piece of reality that was left after a great war. Players, who possess a godlike power, will have to rebuild the world island by island in order to find an artifact known as the Shard of Light that will allow them to fend off the invasion of dark forces. It has to be mentioned that the contents of every island are generated procedurally. As we play, we will explore giant forests, grim dungeons, and weird structures made of elements. Gameplay focuses on doing various quests, fighting with enemies, gathering more and more powerful equipment, and leveling up our character through a classless progression system - we can freely chose the skills and abilities we want to use during our adventures. Izle can be played as a single player game or in cooperation with another player.

A space-based tactical strategy which is a debut project of Magnosphere. The action of Contact Vector takes place in distant future, where humanity has managed to colonize numerous space systems throughout the galaxy. We assume the role of a commander of a special interception fleet sent to investigate a mysterious signature left by a hyperspace jump in a seemingly lifeless part of the galaxy. The expedition turns out to be a complete mistake, as the human space is invaded by a mighty galactic empire. The game focuses on large-scale space battles, especially the tactical part – we are left with two types of gameplay: the first one focuses on dynamic combat, with the action taking place in real time, while the second one was designed with turn-based strategy fans in mind – the game pauses every fifteen seconds, offering the ability to rethink our position and send out additional orders.
