A first-person action game and a sequel to the 2006 game from Ubisoft. The story of Red Steel 2 is set in an unusual universe that combines a typical western setting with futuristic elements. The game once again lets us assume the role of a nameless gunslinger who also wields a deadly katana. There is a myriad of various missions to undertake, all of which are a part of the protagonist’s vendetta against the infamous Jackals gang. As we progress, the hero gains experience that allows him to develop his skills and enhance both his weapons and armor. The characteristic element of Red Steel 2 is its innovative control system that utilizes the capabilities of Wii Motion Plus. Thanks to it, not only do we have control over firearms, but also the katana with which we can perform precise strikes.
