The story campaign focuses on two students, who are drafted into the army and meet on the front. Faces of War: Brothers in Arms features over ten new, varied missions for every side of the conflict, and a new, improved interface based on the fans' suggestions. The online mode was expanded by adding two new maps and rankings. The visuals and the audio layer have also been improved — the gunshots and explosions sound more realistic now. It's also worth noting that the expansion does not require the base game to run.

At the same time, the gameplay has been diversified, for the player can now achieve victory by different means. The expansion utilizes an upgraded graphical engine and offers noticeable improvements in terms of visuals.

An isometric science fiction adventure game created by a South African indie developer The Brotherhood Games. The game is set in an abandoned research facility, where the main hero, John Maracheck, wakes up. Throughout the game the protagonist has to discover what happened in the facility and find his relatives. Easy to guess, seemingly empty laboratory hides loads of traps and dangers. Despite the unique perspective, at least for this genre, the game focuses on exploration, finding items, and solving puzzles; interestingly though, as a result of the player’s reckless actions, the hero may even die. The game features atmospheric artwork, kept in cool colors to underline the hero’s solitude. Gameplay is also accompanied by calm music that builds the atmosphere of isolation and emptiness.

An arcade real-time strategy game by Pocketwatch Games, featuring old-school pixel art visuals. The action of Tooth and Tail takes place during an animal revolution, modeled to the conflicts of the turn of 19th and 20th century, where several factions comprised of different animal species fight to the death. Gameplay mechanics resemble classic RTS productions—their foundations lay in resource gathering, base building, and tactical combat. In the game, however, we can not issue direct orders to individual units. Instead, we assume control of their commander, who moves throughout the battlefield with a banner in his hand. His task is to designate places in which buildings will be built and show his subordinates their targets. Since we control just one character, the controls of Tooth and Tail resemble a typical action game rather than strategy, and most processes were adequately automated so that the player can focus on pure fun.

There is a set of missions which can be accomplished in many ways, with the use of unique items. Even though Rick’s laboratory serves as the focal point of the game, you also travel to other planets and dimensions through portals. Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality is created for VR devices and motion controllers. The visuals are attractive, but it is the physics engine that deserves most recognition, as it is responsible for the proper behavior of items that interact with each other.

The killer we control possesses considerable skills in terms of acrobatics, remaining hidden, and surprise attacks, although a direct confrontation usually gets her killed. The characteristic feature of Shadwen is the fact that time flows only when the protagonist moves. It allows us to plan our next move calmly and precisely as well as to prepare intricate traps with the use of a number of interactive objects.

The last element takes place in an unusual hybrid system in which actions are performed in turns but the commands are issued in real time. Due to the nature of this sport, the matches can be very brutal. One can command the titular mutants, aliens, animated skeletons, battle droids, and football players that came straight from hell. The players can utilize a wide arsenal of weapons (featuring knuckle-dusters, battle-axes, chainsaws, and even grenades) along with numerous special abilities. Among the peculiar features of the game, one can find the system of traps, mines, lava pools and toxic clouds ever-present on the football field. Additionally, the changing weather system affects the game with its acid rains and violent storms.

Moreover, the expansion introduces new items, skills, additional companions that can be recruited into our party, as well as increased character level capacity.

The fourth DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the last expansion made available as a part of the season pass. The add-on introduces a fixed number of traditional novelties: new multiplayer maps, a new (final) episode of Exo Zombies, and a number of smaller upgrades. The new expansion takes us to an excavation site in the Arctic (Fracture), one of the districts of New Bagdad (Overload), an island taken over by an epidemic (Quarantine), and a closed location in Seul, capital of South Korea (Swarm). The fourth episode of Exo Zombies continues the story of four heroes, Lennox, Lilith, Decker, and Kahn, who during the last episode managed to escape from the Atlas aircraft carrier. The group decides that Oz, a former ally turned into zombie, needs to be eliminated. The ultimate showdown will take place in Trident Retreat, an underwater survival facility. The new episode introduces new types of enemies, and a new weapon – Trident Reflected Energy Weapon.

The third installment in a 2.5D platform game series that exists as a spin-off to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. This time you visit the 1918 Russia, when two bloody revolutions lead to some radical changes in the government. The brutal Bolshevik rule ignites a civil war, while the never ending struggle between the Templars and the Assassins rages on in the background. Playing as Nikolai Orelov, you take care of the Brotherhood of the Assassins’ interests, completing a series of dangerous missions, whose general gameplay premises are no different than in the core Assassin’s Creed games. However, because of the unusual perspective, the game requires even more tactical approach and careful planning of your next step.
