Since most of the monsters are really strong and the ammo for firearms found on the way is scarce, the best way to deal with opponents is to avoid open fight and sneak past them, distracting, or creating elaborate traps. It is also important for the two players to tightly cooperate with each other. Twin Soul features amazing atmosphere inspired by H.R. Giger’s art, David Lynch’s films and modern culture of Russia.

Players take role of Ashule, a warrior who dies while trying to defend her friend Liliana from a powerful demon and is reborn as half-demonic being. Her main objective is to find and rescue Liliana. Similarly to its predecessor, Nights of Azure 2 is a typical hack and slash with an arcade battle system and TPP view. As she gets more experience, Ashule will unlock more skills and get more powerful in the process. She can also be helped by female companions, and the more often she does that, the stronger bond she creates with them. This in turn lets her learn new powers or unlock news quests.

Might & Magic Showdown is a miniature wargame set in the Might & Magic universe. It was developed by Fun House, a part of the Ubisoft Montreal studio. Even though the game offers a single player campaign, it was implemented solely for training purposes. Quick, multiplayer PvP duels, set on boards stylized after the actual miniature wargmes, are the key element of the game. Players control a hero who has an array of special abilities at their disposal, which have their own cooldowns, and up to three monsters from the pool of available creatures. You cannot control those monster directly, you can only define their tactics for the battle. The more duels you win, the more heroes and creates will be available to you. One of the game's main assets is the possibility to personalize the figurines. You can paint even their smallest details, or use premade skins. Even though the game has all the characteristic elements known from the other Might & Magic games, its gameplay is visibly different than in the main installments of the series.

Even though the gameplay mechanics are not that complex, a more tactical approach is needed when entering new levels. Taking advantage of the environment of each level is the key to success. For example, we can place our opponent in a trap without any exit. Super Bomberman R offers two game modes: Story, for one or two players, or Battle, a local or online multiplayer for up to eight players.

Fetch shows player’s character from the side perspective, and every puzzle features arcade sequences. Occasionally, the game will also change into an arcade minigame with various objectives: from feeding rainbow snake with fishes, up to battles against pirate ships. Fetch employs good-looking, colorful visuals that resemble Pixar’s movies. Official concept arts and built-in complex guide are nice additions.

The game presents the topic in a humorous way. Not only Romanian centurions, medieval knights, Spartans and Persians can fight against each other, but orcs, trolls, Santa Clauses, penguins and chickens as well. The strengths of these armies (even the chickens) are more or less equal, but each unit type has unique attack. The battles take place in varied environments – there are winter landscapes, mountain tops, deserts and green fields. The action can be observed from any perspective, enabling the player to have a better view of the fight. Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator is based on modified Unity technology. This enables it to depict great number of units while keeping a decent level of graphics.

A MMORPG/shooter hybrid developed by the independent studio Cybertime Systems as an attempt to fill in the void left after the famed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. sZone-Online takes us to a post-apocalyptic future, where risky scientific research has caused a worldwide cataclysm. A few generations later, the planet slowly returns to life, with humanity creating special anomaly zones that isolate dangerous mutated beings along with unlucky humans that inhabit the area. The player joins the ranks of so called Stalkers, and depending on his preferences, he can focus on lone treasure hunts, or join the conflict of interest between a few groups that fight for the control over the zone. We can choose from several specializations that determine not only the abilities of our character, but also the play style, and focus on enabling us to complete hundreds of story quests in an open world with an area of over 40 square kilometers. We can choose from numerous weapons, outfits, and special artifacts, along with an extensive crafting module present to fulfill any requests the player may have.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is another installment of the jRPG series developed by Nihon Falcom Corp. The game begins a year and a half after the events of the second game of the series. Erobonia Empire is now the biggest country on the continent. Government’s policies lead to the weakening of the areas once ruled by by the nobles, which leads to new problems. The students of Class VII have finished their education and began to lead their own lives. Rean Schwarzer, our protagonist, decided to become an instructor of the university’s special division that trains a small number of talented adepts. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III uses the same (although slightly improved) gameplay mechanics as the other games of the series. Combat is now more fast-paced thanks to the assignment of particular actions to gamepad’s buttons. In addition to that, a special new command Brave Order was also implemented in the game.

A hybrid of survival horror and a roguelike game, designed exclusively for Virtual Reality headgear. Developed by Firesprite, The Persistence takes the players to the year 2521, when the interstellar voyages are a part of people’s everyday life. The main protagonist is a member of a spaceship crew, which, as a result of an unsuccessful experiment, has been turned into bloodthirsty mutants. The player is tasked with finding a way to restart the engines, allowing him to escape into safer parts of the Universe. In The Persistence, one observes the action from the first-person perspective. During the game, the player explores consecutive rooms and cabins of an enormous ship (the layout of which is procedurally generated), solves numerous environmental puzzles, and fights the encountered enemies using a diversified arsenal. There is also an option to sneak past the enemies’ backs. The main protagonist is equipped with a special device, allowing him to recover stem cells from the bodies of fallen enemies in order to develop particular traits and abilities. Interestingly enough, the protagonist’s death is permanent, which means that each playthrough features different challenges. The entire experience features high-quality visuals.

We influence it by making decisions at its crucial moments. One of the newest introductions to the game that was not present in season 1 are the so-called observers, people who use a special mobile app to influence the players' choices.

The experience combines arcade elements with a bit of simulation and tactics. The application was created in cooperation with several large football clubs, including FC Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. This allowed the developer to recreate the movement styles and appearances of top footballers with attention to detail (above all, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique). The game's visuals constitute its another advantage, as PES 2017 -Pro Evoluton Soccer- is one of the best-looking games of this kind available on mobile devices.
