A space arcade game from the endless runner genre, developed by Kool2Play. At first sight, Hyperide resembles classic space shooters that were once popular in the arcades. We control a small space ship that keeps flying upwards through levels filled with enemies and dangers. However, the gameplay strays from other similar games with one important feature: our ship doesn’t have any weapons mounted, meaning that our only choice is to avoid collisions with incoming objects. Hyperide offers two different game modes. The first one revolves around completing certain objectives within the levels with clearly defined beginning and end. The other one is infinite mode, where threats are generated randomly, our space track never ends, and the game goes on indefinitely until our ship is destroyed.

This arcade, endless-runner game brings a continuation to the long-standing, iconic Pac-Man series. Pac-Man 256 is a free-to-play title with microtransactions. The game was created by Hipster Whale - an external developer standing behind production of the popular game Crossy Road, based on similar mechanics. In Pac-Man 256, the player takes control of the titular creature running from a deadly glitch, which appeared first in the original Pac-Man game that came out back in 1980 (in the original game, the glitch attacked Pac-Man once the player had reached level 256). When exploring the endless maze, the protagonist eats yellow dots, not only avoiding the glitch chasing him, but also running from colorful ghosts the fans of the franchise are definitely familiar with. The player's goal here is to score as many points as possible before dying. Similar to Hipster Whale's previous game, Pac-Man 256 features a massive number of bonuses to be unlocked. The game is played from isometric view, following the pattern of the original Pac-Man, which was released 35 years earlier.

We will also have fight with powerful bosses every once in a while. In addition to single player, the game offers the so-called Endless mode where we have to run as far as possible and survive as long as possible. Our score is then published in online rankings when we can compare our times with the achievements of other players. The game has cartoonish visuals and lots of dark humor in it. Super Meat Boy: Forever has many references to other games, i.e. unlockable characters from various indie productions.

A surrealistic arcade game from the Polish Evil Indie Games studio, set in an alternate version of the year 1994. It shows a grim, retrofuturistic vision of future, as imagined in the 70’s. In the age of a totalitarian regime that tries to break all opposition, we play as an ordinary clerk, who is given the task of delivering a message to someone known as the Ice Queen. Gameplay-wise, No Thing is a rather classic arcade game from the endless runner genre, where we observe world from the perspective of our hero, who automatically runs through narrow, floating paths. We must turn at correct moments to remain on the track and avoid colliding with obstacles. Game offers a campaign (with a very twisted plot) mode or an endless mode, the latter with a never-ending path and us trying to go as far as possible.

The playthrough ends when the player makes a mistake. Starting each new game is all about making more progress than previously - the player competes against other player's high scores as well. What differentiates the game from its predecessor is the roster, including such Disney and Pixar characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mufasa or Buzz Astral. Additional characters can be unlocked using coins collected while playing or by spending real money through microtransactions.

Another entry in the BIT.TRIP series – 2D auto runner platformers – developed by Gaijin Entertainment. The plot of Runner3 is a continuation of the adventures of CommenderVideo, the hero from the previous games. The gameplay didn't change much when compared to the previous titles but there are a few new features and improvements which are the result of community feedback. During the game, our character runs automatically to the right and our goal is to lead him through dozens of various levels and avoid numerous traps by either jumping over or sliding under them. As usual for this series, all actions are performed accordingly to music's rhythm. Each action creates a sound and the soundtrack's tempo determines how fast our hero runs and the number of hazards that await him.

Kaito’s skateboard moves automatically, and the player has to avoid various obstacles by turning right, left, or jumping in right moments. However, all of this is directly connected to the background music, which not only affects the gameplay, but is also used for storytelling and expressing character’s emotions.

The player's goal is to score as many points as possible. Furthermore, the player obtains coins alongside progression and these can be spent on new weapon sights. Endless Sniper offers pixel-art visuals, referencing old games released for 8-bit consoles. Although the application is available for free, commercials are displayed from time to time.

Similarly to the previous Rayman mobile games, this one too is an auto runner, although this time the gameplay bears more similarities to the full-fledged installments in the series (namely, Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends). As its predecessors, the game is powered by UbiArt Framework game engine.

All of this is done through simple gestures drawn on the screen that we perform in correct moments. Players are given a varied selection of weaponry and they can help themselves with magic. Like Dark Souls, Slashy Souls is characterized by its high difficulty level – each enemy is quite a challenging, and dying is extremely easy.
