The Eldritch Zookeeper is a game that combines elements from several video game genres in order to simulate the life of a zoo manager. The player keeps in his zoo creatures taken directly from the literary works of none other than Howard Phillips Lovecraft. New monsters are delivered on a daily basis and it is up to the player to build the appropriate fence or cage, depending on the type of the creature. Moreover, one has to tend to the monster’s needs and make sure they do not escape. The player also has to come up with some additional attractions for the visitors - constant presence of cosmic horrors can drive anyone insane. Simultaneously, all the responsibilities typical for economic strategy games have to be carried out by a single character. This unfortunate man has to do the entire work all by himself - whenever a beast breaks loose due to the character’s mistakes or visitors’ behavior, it is a high priority to keep the protagonist alive, which often leads to fighting the creatures or running away from the threat, exactly as in survival games.

A psychological horror adventure game. The developers at Zoetrope Interactive were inspired by the works of Howard Philips Lovecraft, especially the novella entitled At the Mountains of Madness. The action of Conarium takes place in the 30s, and the player find himself in Upuaut. This enigmatic name refers to a research station left by a scientific expedition to Antarctic, whose four members intended to overstep the limitations of human body and mind with the use of the eponymous mysterious device. At the core of the gameplay lies exploration of the environment, conversations with encountered non-player characters, gathering useful equipment, and solving environmental puzzles that are based either on manipulating objects or physics. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 which translates into advanced visual effects and detailed graphics.

The title was created by Polish studio Crystalvision led by Sewer Hrehorowicz, the co-creator of OddPlanet platform game. Lovecraft Tales takes place in Vermont in New England, in an open world featuring hand-drawn 2D environment. The protagonist must eat, drink and find a safe hideout for the night in order to avoid madness. The story of the game is based on various short novels created by Lovecraft. The novels are known as the Cthulhu mythology. However, the narration in the game is quite lax. In order to learn something about the world, the player must speak to NPCs, complete various tasks and search for trails and notes. Due to the necessity of making decisions that exclude each other, one cannot discover everything during a single playthrough. Lovecraft Tales has a dark, mysterious atmosphere and climatic audio.

You play as a University of Miskatonic professor, who receives a letter from a missing student. The student warns the professor against a dark cult involving much of the university's staff. The story is shown mostly via text with occasional pictures. You often have to make decisions by choosing one of several available actions, which affect the plot. The game gives you much freedom in shaping the story and to discover all of its elements, you'll have to complete it several times. At the same time, the productions features strong RPG elements. You characters has a range of characteristics and abilities, which are used when calculating the probability of success of your actions.

A mobile adaptation of a tabletop board game. It was inspired by the story titled “Festival” by Howard Philips Lovecraft, one of the first stories in the so-called Cthulhu Mythos. The game is set in the harbor town of Kingsport, where a mysterious ritual, which summons cosmic horrors, takes place once in every hundred years. You play as the cult leaders overseeing the ritual. Their task is to collect spells and artifacts that will allow them to conquer the port and defeat their enemies. During the game, they also use old books that allow them to cast dangerous spells and conjure comic horrors, which provide them with magical gifts. The presence of those entities, however, can cause madness, so you have to use their support sparingly. At the same time, you need to be wary of law enforcement officers, who want to capture the cultists before they plunge the city into chaos.
