Another installment in the series of third-person perspective shooters set in a SF universe, popular among Nintendo consoles users. The title was co-developed by Nintendo and Platinum Games, an acknowledged developer from Japan, led by Shigeru Miyamoto. The plot of Star Fox Zero tells a story of four friends – Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy, who have to save the Lylat system from dangerous enemies. During the game, you control the Arwing, a space craft that can not only fly, but also transform into a powerful walking machine, offering two vastly different gameplay modes. What makes Star Fox Zero different from the previous parts is the fact that it centers around employing the unique possibilities provided by Wii U and its controller. The action is seen from the third-person perspective, while the controller screen, used for aiming, features the action in first-person perspective.

A free-to-play game in the Pokemon Rumble series, released for Nintendo 3DS handheld. Pokemon Rumble World is set in a realm of toys, where the players are invited to catch as many Pokemon as they can. The game world is divided into various locations which you visit one by one. After getting to a new region you must first challenge a wild Pokemon and then you are taken to a special arena, where you have a chance of making the Pokemon your ally. Pokemon Rumble World features arcade gameplay, but the character’s statistics are also very important. As you progress in the adventure you climb up in the so-called Adventurer Rank, which opens up access to new locations, where you can catch stronger Pokemon. And there are a lot of them - more than 700 in total. The developers included all the creatures that appeared in the core games in the series (up to Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire). In Pokemon Rumble World players can meet Mii characters of other participants and help one another.

The mechanics of Dead or Alive: Xtreme 3 are completely different than the ones in the fighting games – it is a compilation of several arcade minigames. Each of these minigames has completely different principles. The player can participate in beach volleyball duels that – despite being based on real rules – are purely action based. Rock climbing requires the player to press (in correct order) the buttons appearing on the screen. Among other available modes there are card game and beach running. As the player proceeds through the game, they unlock new content like costumes for the female characters. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is a complete remake of Radiant Historia, a jRPG game that was released in 2010 on Nintendo DS. The remake has completely new 3D visuals, new soundtrack composed by Yoko Shimomura, and an additional storyline with new scenarios and characters. Moreover, with game veterans in mind, Atlus created a special option of skipping the bigger part of the story and jumping right into the new content. When it comes to new players, they can choose one of the lower difficulty levels. The rest of the game was not changed. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is still a classic jRPG with turn-based combat mechanics. We play as a young warrior named Stocke. With his companions, he has to prevent the destruction the Vainqueur continent. The biggest attraction of the game is the possibility of traveling in time and influencing history with our choices, bringing to mind cult games Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.

Developed by Harmonix Music Systems for Nintendo Switch, Super Beat Sports is a compilation of five arcade minigames based loosely on the rules of several sport disciplines. Story-wise, the game is set on Earth, which was invaded by an alien civilization from an alternative, musical dimension. The invaders decided to modify sports they found here to match their own preferences - in order to do the testing, they challenged the Earth's best contestants. The player can participate in five different contests combining the rules of some popular sport disciplines with the necessity to keep up with the rhythm of music. Gobble Golf is a variation on golf, Net Ball on the other hand, is a modified version of tennis. Rhythm Racket places the player in the role of the goalkeeper in order to prevent the opponent from scoring. In Buddy Ball, the player's job is to send back the ball played by a random opponent, and as for Whacky Bat, it is based loosely on the classic baseball.

Another entry in a classic platform series from Konami and a third part of the trilogy developed with Game Boy Advance console users in mind. The main hero of Castelvania: Aria of Sorrow is Soma Cruz, who loses consciousness during the first eclipse of the 21st century and wakes up in a mysterious Medieval castle. It turns out that the eclipse had a lot to do with dark forces, and the solitary protagonist has to find a way out of the fortress, while dealing with legions of various enemies. In terms of game mechanics, the title doesn’t differ much from previous productions from the Castlevania series, combining arcade slasher with RPG features. During the game, our hero can use different types of weapons, attacks and spells gained as we progress through the game. Enemies we face are greatly varied and require equally varied tactics.
