Spyro Reignited Trilogy

A dynamic action game developed by Japanese studio Platinum Games – known primarily for their successful slasher Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a spin-off to a popular stealth game series. The game’s goal is to defeat a giant dragon who took over a magical realm. You get to explore a vast world that combines elements of science fiction and fantasy. While fighting your way through to the main boss, you face the dragon’s lesser kins – each one of them has unique abilities and requires using different tactics. In this dangerous quest you can use not only various melee weapons, but also the hero’s supernatural skills that give him an upper hand in fighting the huge reptiles. The core gameplay is based on spectacular action, which is quite similar to the previous games of the Japanese developer.

The 20th expansion for the MMORPG EverQuest by Daybreak Game Company, released almost in time for the franchise's 15th anniversary. The plot is connected to the events from the second installment in the series — the story begins in North Karana, which was visited by the mysterious Lady Lindenaria, The dragoness' appearance is the direct reason for the creation of an interdimensional rift, which threatens the land of Ethernere. You have to confront the beast and see what is her attitude towards the locals. EverQuest: Call of the Forsaken features a range of new locations, e.g. Dead Hills or Neriak 4th Gate, as well as new pieces of equipment, such as armor and weapons designed by the gaming community. Apart from that, the expansion introduces mysterious artifacts, which can be of use in the confrontation with Lindenaria. The last novelty is the Heroic Adventures system, which makes sure that the items and enemies found in locations are appropriate for your level — thanks to it, when visiting one location several times, you may end up finding different loot.

EverQuest II: Tears of Veeshan is the 10th DLC for a MMORPG called EverQuest II, well-known and regarded since 2004. The expansion was developed by Daybreak Game Company, people who also developed the original game in 1999, and have been maintaining the franchise ever since. This expansion takes players to a new land of Enternal Broodlands, a kind of dragons’ heaven, where the main goals is to acquire the title tears of Veeshan. The developers prepared a wide set of story missions and side quests, as well as a package of new skills – mainly the so-called dragon skills, different for different archetypes. A new character class was added in this DLC: the Channeler, along with the advanced mercenary management system, who can now be swapped “on-the-fly”. Members of guilds certainly appreciate the introduction of level-4 houses.

The expansion, released for the game's 15th anniversary, adds eight new locations (Arx Mentis, Caverns of Endless Song, Combine Dredge, Tempest Temple, The Lost Castle, and Thyliasaur Island) and new enemies, including dinosaurs. Additionally, the experience cap has been raised to level 105. The developers also added new side quests, as well as equipment, spells, and abilities. A keyring has also been implemented, which partially solves the problem with insufficient inventory space. The expansion utilizes the same technology as the game, released over ten years ago, but its visuals are more detailed.

The expansion obviously brings its share of story missions, side quests, and some minor tweaks in the area of audio-visuals.

The story of The Broken Mirror revolves around the fallen goddess, Anasthi Sul, who, driven by unbridled lust for power, decided to conquer the land of Norrath. The player’s task is to stop the spreading chaos and face the powerful deity in battle. Despite the fact that the add-on does not introduce any changes in the gameplay, it offers lots of previously unavailable content. The game takes place in 7 key locations, 4 of which are completely new, while the remaining 3 are remastered versions of already existing areas. In addition, The Broken Mirror introduces new spells and items, as well as new quests and multiplayer raids, whose difficulty level scales to the most powerful member of the party.
