The fifth major installment in one of the most popular skateboarding game series, returning after a long hiatus thanks to Robomodo – the authors of RIDE, SHRED, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD. The game takes the series back to its roots, featuring similar gameplay model. Just as in the original, players get a series of missions and challenges to complete in one of several in-game locations. The game has purely arcade gameplay: different power-ups are scattered across locations, and in some places you can even fire missiles or throw items at targets while skateboarding. Developed by Roll7 studio, OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is a continuation of a 2D retro platform game, which has been published in 2014 for the most popular consoles on the market. In the game, an amiable skater known from the previous installment visits entirely new places that, this time around, are associated with the movie industry. The gameplay mechanics have not changed much since the first installment, as they build on traversing consecutive locations on a skateboard and performing breakneck tricks and evolutions. On their way, the players are bound to encounter multiple obstacles such as quarter pipes, hills, etc. - one's objective is to get the best score possible for performing the tricks. For the game, the developers have designed five entirely new levels based on real-life locations associated with the movie industry. The pool of available tricks has been expanded, while the combo system has been significantly improved. The game features much more colorful visuals that retained their 16-bit style.

In the production of True Axis studio, known from the popular Jet Car Stunts 2, we make various gestures on the screen of our device, such as sliding our finger down, lifting the front of the board up, or drawing arcs symbolizing for example kickflip. In this way, we do tricks - from the basic ones, such as ollie or nollie, to more advanced ones, such as backside 180 kickflip.
