Indiana Jones Great Circle: The safe and Mak-Yek puzzle (A Game of Wits)

A Game of Wits is one of the mysteries of the Sukhothai region in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It involves opening a safe in Voss' camp. On this page of the guide, we explain how to start this optional fieldwork, how to get a note with the Mak-Yek rules, and how to use a board game to find the safe combination.

1. The locked safe is one of the unique objects in Voss' camp, located in the northern part of the Sukhothai map. This is a Restricted Area that you can visit as part of the Voss' Gold Stash fieldwork or during regular exploration.
2. Reach the top floor of one of the large tents west of the main building of the enemy base. There you will find a table with a board game set up and a Mystery Note: Lorenzo's Challenge. You will determine that one of the fascists has locked the safe and that determining the combination to it involves a game of Mak-Yek. A Game of Wits mystery will begin.

The safe and Mak-Yek game puzzle, what's the combination?

1. In the same place there's also a second note - these are the Mak-Yek Rules. You can optionally zoom in on it after taking it or select it from your journal.

1. The code to the safe is always the same, so you don't necessarily have to dive into the details of Mak-Yek or analyze the placement of units on the game board. You can immediately locate the safe and interact with it.
2. The correct combination is 3186. You will find some money (baht) inside the safe (local Sukhothai currency). Additionally, you will receive 250 Adventure Points for completing the mystery.
