Indiana Jones Great Circle: The Ventura's Bookcase puzzle (A Snake in the Garden)

A Snake in the Garden is a mystery in the Vatican that you can tackle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. We have prepared a complete walkthrough for this optional quest. How do I get to the Ventura's Bookcase?

1. For this puzzle, you need to reach the office inside the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican - it is one of the upper floors of the palace in its western part.

1. The Bookcase Note can be found on a large desk. Picking it up will unlock A Snake in the Garden mystery.

How to determine the order of interactions with the books?

By reading the note you will learn that books must be pulled out in alphabetical order. Additionally, turn the note over to see the names and symbols. The correct alphabetical order is as follows:

1. The crown icon (last name starting with F);
2. The triangle icon (letter L);
3. The wheel icon (letter P);
4. The star icon (letter Q).

Come up to the Ventura's Bookcase, which is in the corner of the room. The correct order for removing books from the shelf is as follows:

1. Second from the left (1 in our screenshot) - a book with a crown symbol;
2. First from the right (2 in our screenshot) - a book with a triangle symbol;
3. First from the left (3 in our screenshot) - a book with the wheel symbol;
4. Second from the right (4 in our screenshot) - a book with a star symbol.

Rewards for completing the puzzle

1. Solving the puzzle will reveal a hidden storage. You will find 120 lire inside it and Mussolini's Letter. In addition, you will receive 100 Adventure Points for completing the mystery.
