This page of the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle guide features an interactive map of the Sukhothai region - the final open region visited during The Blessed Pearl quest. You can explore the jungle, Nazi camps, and various smaller locations, including a village, a Khmer Vault, a Warrior Temple, a Hidden Pyramid, and a Hidden Temple. The map shows, among other things, harbors and fast travel points, side quests, discoveries, mysteries, notes, main and optional puzzles, photos, points of interest, restricted areas, books, medicine bottles, ancient relics, disguises, lost artifacts, and shops (including the location of the rebreather). This will make it easier for you to discover all of Sukhothai's secrets.

How to get to Sukhothai?

You will first reach Sukhothai after completing the shorter main mission Into the Fire, which takes place in Shanghai. Indiana and Gina will travel both by plane and on land to get to the new region. You will arrive in Sukhothai at night and initially the only available location will be the hotel and its surroundings. The characters will check into the hotel and then escape from the fascists on board a boat.

Note - The hotel is only visited once during the game and cannot be returned to later in the campaign. Missed collectibles from this location may appear later on the region's main map.

Main map of Sukhothai

Sukhothai is the final third major region in the game. You can begin exploring it after unlocking The Blessed Pearl main quest, and this will take place during daylight hours.

There are various smaller locations on the Sukhothai map, each with their own little maps. Additionally, there are several fascist camps in the jungle. All such locations are Restricted Areas, where you must sneak to avoid detection and massive fights with enemies. It's highly recommended to acquire a Royal Army Uniform from the northern camp - you will only have to avoid Nazi officers.

Village

Located in the eastern part of the map, this is where you begin exploring the main part of Sukhothai. In the village, you'll encounter only friendly NPCs. This location is connected to various main and side missions. Additionally, you'll find many collectibles here.

Note - The gate to the village may be locked if Indy is wearing a disguise. You must remove it to be allowed back in.

Hidden Pyramid

Located in the northwestern part of Sukhothai, it can be visited after purchasing a rebreather. Indy must dive and face a large snake several times. Inside the pyramid, you'll need to solve several puzzles and find many secrets.

Warrior Temple

An optional location connected to the The Kid Who Vanished fieldwork. It's located in the southwest part of Sukhothai, and we've shown all its rooms on the map. Some of them contain puzzles, including those involving coghweels and a bridge with a statue.

Khmer Vault

Visiting this location is part of the A Study in Fear quest. It's located in the southern part of the map, behind a small Nazi camp. In the vault, you'll need to solve a series of puzzles, some of which are Indy's hallucinations, who will then be transported back to Marshall College.

Hidden Temple

This location is connected to the main quest The Blessed Pearl. You will visit it towards the end of your stay in Sukhothai. Indy and Gina must first find the entrance to the temple in the ruins and then explore it. In the temple, you'll first need to complete a major game to finally reach the pearl.

Fast travel and using boat in Sukhothai

You can use boats to travel around the map, which is going to be really helpful as all the key locations are accessible via rivers and reservoirs. You can find places to moor your boat. You will also find a radio at each dock that will allow you to call a boat if necessary.

There are also traditional fast travel points in Sukhothai - you can come across signposts and quickly move to other ones that you have already found on the main map.

Fieldworks, discoveries, and mysteries

A visit to Sukhothai is an opportunity to complete optional quests and activities. The available quests are the following:

  1. 4x Fieldworks - these are more extensive side quests;
  2. 6x Mysteries - these are smaller quests related to solving puzzles;
  3. Discoveries - these are minor activities.

Books

During your stay in Sukhothai you can discover or purchase new Books. They work in an identical way to the previous regions - you can purchase skills from books by spending Adventure Points. Some of the books involve searching for specific collectibles - they will help you get 100% of the secrets.

Photos

Indy can still use his camera and take photos of characters, objects, or structures. Some of the photos are required to advance in the game, while others are optional collectibles that will reward you with dozens to hundreds of Adventure Points.

Merchants - rebreather and other goods

In Sukhothai, you can visit a merchant who, in addition to some very helpful books, also has a Rebreather for sale. Its purchase is required to advance in the main storyline.

Collectibles

Sukhothai contains a whole range of different various minor secrets. These include:

  1. Field Notes – there are nearly 150 of them in total. Collected notes may be linked to specific quests or optional activities.
  2. Lost Artifacts and Ancient Relics - scattered throughout the region.
  3. Medicine Bottles - you can collect bottles and then spend them on unique books.

Puzzles and points of interest

Our interactive map highlights important jungle locations in Sukhothai that the game itself won't necessarily guide you to using built-in markers. Additionally, we have marked the places where you can solve puzzles: puzzles may be optional or required to progress in the main storyline.

Disguise

From our interactive map you will learn where to find the Royal Army Uniform - this is the best disguise to get in Sukhothai, as it will make it easier to infiltrate enemy locations.
