A turn-based strategy game set during the Napoleonic Wars. The game was developed by AGEOD, a developer considered to be an able strategy game maker. The game offers four different scenarios set within different periods of Napoleon's rule. These include the so-called Grand Campaign (1805-1815) and a few smaller ones: Austerlitz (1805), Battle of Jena (1806), and Waterloo (1815). The battles are fought on the strategical level, so the player controls entire armies instead of individual soldiers. Apart form being able to control French forces, the player also has access to the British, Spanish, Russian, Austrian, Prussian, and Ottoman armies. The gameplay requires the player mainly to effectively lead their military forces, but also take manage supply lines, military improvements, and diplomacy. A turn-based strategy created by 2BY3 Games - a developer that specializes in the genre. Contrary to the majority of the studio's previous games, War Plan Orange: Dreadnoughts in the Pacific 1922-1930 does not recreate any historical events. Instead, the game offers a completely fictional scenario that presents an alternative course of the war between the United States and Japan (involves other allied countries as well), which takes place in the Pacific. Naval forces play the key part here, with a special emphasis placed on powerful battleships and cruisers. The game features two main campaigns - one is set in the years 1922-26, and the second extends that period up until 1930; also, 8 additional scenarios, which can be played either solo or in the multiplayer. Despite the fact that the game presents a fictional conflict, the developer recreated authentic units from the period, including certain ships that in reality, never left the early stage of construction.

In terms of mechanics, Admiral's Edition is an improved version of the original game, which offers many novelties and changes. Hexes have become smaller (one represents 40 miles here instead of 60), a system of waypoints was added, and both the processes of upgrading and managing the ships were modified. Apart from that, the expansion brings more types of terrain and delivers even authentic experience when it comes to battle damage and repairs of different units. Admiral's Edition introduces a completely new campaign, as well as 5 scenarios which differ in the size of the warfare theater.

Another strategy game developed by Strategic Simulations Inc. This time the developers are taking the player to a world that combines fantasy and steampunk. The player is tasked with assuming the role of one of the four masters summoned to destroy the evil Shadowlord and his followers. Fantasy General focuses primarily on combat, during which the player uses units of four categories – immortal, magic, monsters, and mechanical. Each category is additionally divided into ten classes, like for example light and heavy infantry, cavalry, or archers. Although the key to victory lies in building a varied army that will prove to be effective in various circumstances, setting proper research priorities and taking care of economical aspects is important as well. The title uses a modified engine of Panzer General. Contrary to the previous entries in the series, in this game the squads consist of no more than fifteen soldiers. Similarly to previous games, the title offers single player campaign and a multiplayer mode.

A turn-based strategy game developed by Western Civilization Software. As the title suggests, the game focuses on the American Civil War, during which brothers often had to turn against each other when the Confederate States declared war upon the northern states, devastating the United States of America. The action of this game is set at the initial stages of the American Civil War, allowing players to participate in the events such as the First Battle of Bull Run, the Battle of Wilson's Creek (1861), the Battle of Mill Springs and the Battle of Williamsburg (1862). Apart from the large campaigns, the game delivers a number of smaller scenarios, including the hypothetical ones presenting an alternative course of events. Battles take place on huge maps covering the area of 50 square miles, divided into 75-yard hexagons. A single turn corresponds to 24 hours in real time. Brother against Brother: The Drawing of the Sword builds on realism – regiments have their unique skills that made them famous during the Civil War. Apart from the units’ stats and player’s tactical decisions, the battle is affected by the amount of supplies, changing weather conditions, and the smoke suspended over the battlefield.

We can take part in three conflicts: Italian Wars, Thirty Years’ War, or the English Civil War. In all, we are given 10 historical battles, in which we control forces the size of a battalion and larger. Each battlefield was recreated using historical sources, while the available units correspond to real banners from that era. The key to success is to employ adequate tactics for each encounter, while the decisions made by the players have an utmost influence over the whole continent. The game offers five difficulty levels and a PBEM multiplayer mode. The visual side was based on the authentic battle scenes from the era.

A turn-based strategy game, developed by The Headquarter – a Spanish studio known for Espana 1936. This time, the authors enable us to take part in the Thirty Years’ War, a 17th century conflict between Protestant countries of the Holy Roman Empire, supported by other European nations (e.g. Sweden, Denmark, France, Scotland, or England) and the coalition led by Catholic Habsburg dynasty. 30 Years’ War allows us to join either Protestants or Catholics, and take part in the war for domination over The Old Continent, recreating the crucial moments of the conflict. When it comes to mechanics, we are left with a complex, old-school strategy game, employing a simultaneously-executed turn system, and placing a lot of emphasis on faithful recreation of 17th century Europe and its style of conducting warfare. During the game, our mind is preoccupied not only with warfare, but also with conscripting armies and our country’s economy and diplomacy.

A realistic strategy game, developed by 2BY3 Games, that is set in the times of the World War II. As its subtitle might suggest, Uncommon Valor's action takes place in the South Pacific region. The action of the game is set in the period between 1942-1943, and takes place in Australia, New Guinea, and Solomon Islands, among others. Unlike in other strategy games, the developers of Uncommon Valor focused mainly on the events that had a visible impact on warfare in the South Pacific region. There are eighteen different campaigns available. A part of the game’s scenarios will take the players less than sixty minutes to finish, but some will require many hours of attention. The realism and detailed recreation of the events featured in the game are among its biggest assets. It can be seen in the depiction of the military units, the objects located on the maps, and the typical frontline logistics. Depending on the chosen difficulty level, some of the player's activities can be carried out automatically.
