1000 Among Us Matches Summarized

One of the Among Us players boasted of his stats collected from the first thousand rounds he played in the game. The stats reveal how often we can expect to win as an impostor, and when as a crewmate.

Many people would say that Among Us is primarily a title that is played for fun in equally great company. However, you can see more and more groups competing in all earnesty. Those highly motivated to keep winning (though probably not the only them) will probably be interested in the stats summarizing the first 1000 rounds played by a certain user. They were publishes on Reddit in the form of graph by user aDate_for_ya graph. You will also find it below.

We can draw some interesting information from the stats, which of course is not a general indication, because it only concerns one case, but still gives some overview of the general situation. So it's not surprising that the player won more games as a crewmate than as an impostor, because there is simply a higher percentage chance for this, taking into account the number of participants in each game (so-called crewmates always outnumber traitors).

Nevertheless, note that most games played by aDate_for_ya have ended in defeats as a crewmate. Almost 500 games (50% of all matches included in the summary) ended in such way.

It is also worth to look at the impostor, because this stat is probably the one which interests the players most. In 1000 rounds, the possibility to play as traitor was granted 200 times, i.e. on average every five rounds. 133 of them ended in victory, 83 directly, as a consequence of murders, 40 by voting, and only 11 were the result of sabotage, i.e. proper management of events on the map.

Let everyone draw conclusions from these statists individually. It should be remembered that everything also depends on our skills and preferred style of play. Let's simply treat this chart as a kind of curiosity.

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
