11 Bit Studios to Announce New Dark Game in a Week; Watch Teaser

11 bit studios announced that it will reveal a new game on June 12, during the PC Gaming Show. The first teaser of the project looks intriguing.

Known from games Frostpunk and This War of Mine, Polish studio 11 bit has started teasing its new project.

  1. A short video, designed to whet our appetite for the game's reveal, was shared on Twitter.
  2. The project is expected to be shown during the PC Gaming Show presentation, which will take place on June 12.
  3. The teaser is accompanied by a quote: "Man cannot transform himself without suffering, because he is both the marble and the sculptor." These are the words of Alexis Carrell, a French surgeon and Nobel Prize winner.
  4. It's hard to deduce anything concrete from the video, but the vibe of the teaser suggests that the game could be a horror title.

Let us remind that the studio is currently working on three games. Apart from the teased production and Frostpunk 2, the team is also involved in the so-called Project 8. In a comment on Twitter, the company's PR manager Konrad Adamczewski confirmed, that 11 bit currently has three full development teams and each of them deals with its own project.

Of this trio Frostpunk 2 was announced first, but it won't necessarily the first to be released. A recent leak from the Steam database suggested that we may have to wait for the game until 2024.

Finally, it should be added that these three are only projects developed by internal teams of 11 bit studios. The company has also been successfully expanding its publishing activities for a long time, resulting in such titles as Moonlighter, Children of Morta or the upcoming PC and console version of South of the Circle.
