A leak from Steam database revealed release dates of all the games that are heading to the service.

Leaked release dates on Steam - what you need to know

Most likely, the whole thing is the result of an error by Steam's administrators and we expect that the data will be hidden again soon.

1. To check the game's release date, just visit SteamDB and search for the game.
2. The dates were set by the developers themselves and are subject to change.
3. Many of these are only placeholder dates. This is the case with all dates set for the end of the year. Another example is Hollow Knight: Silksong, with a release date scheduled for 2028.
4. So the dates should not be taken as something definitive, but only as interesting hints about the developers' plans.
5. In response to the leak, developers have already started changing the release dates in Steam database. In the case of Dwarf Fortress September 30, 2022 was replaced with the phrase "time is something relative". Reddit users have managed to capture many of them, however.

It's worth mentioning that Steam doesn't allow you to change the release date if there are 10 days or less left until the game's debut day. So if you find such a close date in SteamDB, it is most likely final.
