A Plague Tale: Requiem Gone Gold

Asobo Studio has announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem has gone gold. In other words, the October release of the game can be treated as certain.

Amid a slew of delay announcements, there is finally some good news. Today Asobo Studio announced on Twitter, that A Plague Tale: Requiem has gone gold. This means that the game is ready and the master disc can be sent to the pressing plant.

For our PCs, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and Switch consoles the title will arrive on October 18. From the day of its release, it will also be playable as part of the PC/Xbox Game Pass service.

In the face of delays suffered by, among others. Starfield or Hogwarts Legacy, A Plague Tale: Requiem is growing into one of the more important game releases this fall. If the sequel turns out to be at least as good as the first game, released in 2019, Asobo Studio will be able to celebrate quite a success.

Especially since the materials released so far look pretty solid. If you haven't seen them, I especially recommend seeing the long gameplay from June, as well as the slightly shorter, but still fresh one, published yesterday (available below).
