The release of Assassin's Creed Mirage is just eight days away. This is why Ubisoft is turning up the heat by releasing the game's launch trailer (below).

The footage, once again showing the game's protagonist Basim in action, is accompanied by a song by the band OneRepublic created especially for the project, which alludes to Middle Eastern atmospheres (musically, at least).

The trailer focuses on fast-paced action that goes along with the dynamic track. The trailer shows the protagonist efficiently making his way through the city, dealing with hosts of opponents, using, among other things, a tool resembling a smoke grenade.

What particularly catches the eye is the opponent presented in the 50th second of the footage, who fights Basim with an improvised flamethrower.

Although the trailer above doesn't convey it very well, we know that Mirage - at least in a few aspects - will refer to the stealthy roots of the series.

The installment will be much smaller compared to the last three parts of the series and more compact. This is evidenced by the fact that the main (and only) major city in the game, Baghdad, is, as it were a second protagonist of the game.

Let me remind you that, debuting on October 5, Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Since it's also heading to previous-gen consoles, it doesn't have excessive system requirements.
