Next Huawei Smartphone Without Google Apps

Google has confirmed that Huawei's smartphones will not be licensed for the most popular applications, including YouTube and Google Maps, as a result of a trade ban imposed by the US authorities.

There are many indications that next Huawei smartphones will have fewer apps.

Google has confirmed that it can no longer license its applications to Huawei. This means that the next smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer may be devoid of Google Maps or YouTube applications. According to experts, it will be a powerful blow, which may affect the popularity of the phone in Europe or the USA.

Although President Donald Trump has somewhat relaxed the sanctions imposed on some Chinese companies, officials still do not want to grant licences to trade with Huawei, despite receiving more than 130 applications.

Can you imagine an Android smartphone without Google apps? This is what the Mate 30 series, which is scheduled to be released in September this year, might look like. As a result, they may enjoy relatively little success and their distribution will be significantly hampered.

Huawei phones without Google apps may be less attractive to consumers.

According to experts, the Chinese giant will fight to bring smartphones to the market in the form permitted by law - even if this means a significant reduction in the range of available applications.

Android is an open operating system, so everyone can use it. Google is not able to completely dissociate itself from Huawei, but the company may refuse to support it. That's said, it's not an obstacle that cannot be overcome. The best example is Amazon's Kindle Fire tablets, which work without Google Play.

Unfortunately, users of Android smartphones are strongly attached to the store and the most important applications from the company. This means that Huawei will have to find a way to use the most popular apps, such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

The Chinese company has even created a special website called Huawei Answers, through which it tries to dispel all the doubts of its users. Huawei announced that the company will continue to use Android for as long as possible. At the same time, the manufacturer is working on its own proprietary OS called Harmony.
