Official Description of Assassin's Creed Mirage Leaked From PS Store

For a short time, a description of Assassin's Creed: Mirage from Ubisoft was visible on the PS Store. Although it has been removed now, it has survived online. It confirms most of the rumors about the game.

A full description of Assassin's Creed: Mirage, the upcoming installment of the flagship series by Ubisoft's has appeared on the PS Store. The game is expected to be officially announced at Saturday's Ubisoft Forward (kicking off at 9 p.m. CEST). The product card was very quickly hidden/removed, but thanks, among other entities, to industry journalist Tom Henderson we know what it contained. You will find the text below.

"Experience the story of Basim, a cunning street thief seeking answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad. Through a mysterious, ancient organization known as the Hidden Ones, he will become a deadly Master Assassin and change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.

  • Experience a modern take on the iconic features and gameplay that have defined a franchise for 15 years.
  • Parkour seamlessly through the city and stealthily take down targets with more visceral assassinations than ever before.
  • Explore an incredibly dense and vibrant city whose inhabitants react to your every move, and uncover the secrets of four unique districts as you venture through the Golden Age of Baghdad."

This description confirms most rumors, which we have written about in recent days. It is worth adding that next-gen upgrade for the game is to be free of charge for owners of the dedicated PS4 version, who would like to run it on the PS5. Importantly, in order to download the Assassin's Creed: Mirage update on PlayStation 5 at no extra charge, it will be necessary to place the game\s disc in the console's drive. This therefore excludes the PS5 Digital Edition.
